They received my paperwork on 14/8/2023 and I had a call out of the blue on the 1/9/2023 from a pip assesser..a nurse... aske 2 medical questions and call lasted 10 mins... told 4 to 6 weeks for decision0
-
Wow that was quick0
-
Had a text at 8.03 this morning saying. They have received report from assosor and decision within 8 weeks.0
-
Great wont be long I'm hoping for a descion anyway fingers xx all0
-
Best of luck.... it dose seam to be a bit of a lottery time wise.. some wait months on end.0
-
It's been almost 21 weeks for me atm0
-
Phewwww... Daughter filled in my paperwork and had the notes from 2 different hospitals consultants plus loads of photos as my skin condition is very visible which I thinks helped speed things up .... looking through the forum the waiting seams to be the most stressful thing... if ya need a natter or just to vent ..feel free iam a good listener x1

@roglin55 @Dandy1923 any news yet ? , im still waiting nothing yet0
-
Mine was denied even though medical assesment recommended standard care and standard mobility but im going to fight it0
-
@peter1958 that was quick hopefully you will get a decision quicker than 8 weeks 🤞0
-
@roglin55 oh no sorry you didn’t get the outcome you wanted, yes definitely fight it as I’ve seen few people on here been denied and then been awarded at MR or tribunal so when you say medical assessment do you mean the report that you request after the assessment? And if so does that mean the decision makers have decided no even tho the person who done the assessment as marked it as standard0
-
Correct1
-
@roglin55 Right so the report is not a decision as such still waiting to hear about a assessment so when I do get one how long did you wait to ask for a report as I think I will get one to see where I stand , and to get prepared for MR if needed and I hope one you get your MR hope everything goes well0
