Lcwra - when will I receive my first payment?
Comments

If your first fit note wasn't until 19th Sept then your first payment is potentially Feb 2025. Without knowing the date you usually receive your money each month or the dates of your assessment periods we can't confirm if that's correct.
I see you migrated to UC from another benefit. If there's Transitional Protection included in your UC then the additional LCWRA element will erode that. If your TP is more than £419.16/month then you will not be any better off with the additional element.

I've posted comment last month, I was supposed to get my first payment with UC. It wasn't on the statement and DWP claims that first payment is going to be 3 months after being awarded LCWRA. I tried to explain to them that they're wrong. With no results. So what can I do?

Btw I got my UC payment an hour ago (I always get transfer day before, on 16th).

Unfortunately they are not wrong
When You get awarded lcwra youbdo not get your first payment for 3 full assessment periods
So for example if you were awarded LCWRA in June, you won't get any extra for the
july-august period
August September period September October period
Your 1st payment will be in your November payment
That's the way it's always been done

TThat's not what Poopy said. And it's not what gov.uk website says.

Did you have any gaps in handing in your Fit Notes? Any provided to them that were backdated etc?
0 -
No. They even overlaped.

This is not correct. The waiting period starts from when you provided your first fit note, not from when the decision was made. This is assuming there were no gaps in any fit notes up until a decision is made on the WCA.

Please check your journal to make 100% sure there were no gaps and no fit notes were backdated. When we say backdated what we mean is if for example one fit note ended on the 15th of the month and you didn't provide your next fit note until 20th of the month but that fit note have the date 15th of the month, this would be a backdated fit note.
When a fit note ends, you're supposed to provide another fit note by the following day, not days later.

My first fit note was from 22nd August to 22nd October, second fit note was from 17th September to 11th November, third was from 5th November to 31St January

As advised, it's not the dates on the fit notes that count, it's the date you actually provided that fit note, or provided details of it that count.
If there were no gaps in providing those fit notes put a message onto your journal under the payment section and tell them there were no gaps in your fit notes from X date. The waiting period starts from when you provided that fit note as advised earlier in the thread. Tell them that your calculation say that your first payment should have been on X date.

I've checked, there were no gaps in dates when I've submitted fit notes.

I have had a look at your claim and the decision letter. You have been awarded Limited Capability for Work Regulated Activity your award is from the 05/11/2023. However the relevant period applies which means there needs to be a grace period for three full assessmnet periods. Your award should be awarded to you in the Assessment period 11 February to 10 March 2025. This is the answer I received

This is not correct based on all the information you've given. Please do as I advised in my previous comment.
