    Morning all I hope yous have a good day. It’s bright and sunny here with a bit off a chill in the air.

    @Ada
    Morning Ada that’s a shame you’re not getting much sleep.
    Would your partner not trying turn his routine back to being awake through the day and sleep at night.
    As the noise must distract you from sleeping too.
    I’m doing ok thanks just the usual ache at the back off my leg but a lot less pain than it had been.

    @Beaver79
    Hi I’m glad your eyes healing now with the new cream.

    @Amberpearl
    Thats great you have an appointment for your ears to be syringed.

    Thats a shame and I understand as my ex husband drank for a lot off years but anytime I asked him to get help he’d look at me asif I was crazy and tell me he didn’t have a problem 🤦‍♀️

    @Beaver79
    Thanks I feel the pains easing everywhere except the back off my leg, but the hot water bottle helps that massively.
    Im just hoping this new pump is working and the open bit of my wound will heal over.

    @Lou67

    I used to be similar but not as severe

    Used to have really bad OCD and never felt clean even after spending over 60 mins in the shower

    So my routine was to have a shower about 9pm in the evening (so I didn't have to drink in the morning)
    Then drink between 1/2 and 1 bottle of whisky a night so my OCD went away and I could sleep
    Get to sleep around 1am
    Then not wake until 10am

    That said I realised I have a problem, which I think is half the battle

    I am a lot better now, I still drink around 3 units a day on average, so 21 a week. Some days 4 units some days 0. Just for enjoyment not for addiction. You are meant to stay at or under 14 a week so I am a bit over but when I was drinking over 120 units a week it's very much improved!!

    Hey everyone, how are you all?

    I'm sorry I haven't been around much the past while. A mixture of very busy and not feeling great. Hope to catch up with everything!

    You have me for the weekend  o:)

    Oh that’s great the way you have turned things around, and now you have a much better routine plus you’re cutting down with a lot things and only having them in moderation.
    A massive well done to you because you saw it wasn’t benefiting you and you changed it.

    @Jimm_Scope  Hi, I was actually thinking of you yesterday, I've seen you were online but thought I hadn't come across many posts from you, I hope you're feeling better now?

    @Lou67 thanks I really appreciate that, I agree about having a little of what you like in moderation. Same with weight loss I am over 4 stone lost now but I had a little bit of chocolate yesterday so not totally going without. :blush:

    I hope the rest of your wound heals quickly, I think you deserve a big treat when it's all finished. Maybe a walking holiday? :smile:

    Oh 4 stone loss now that’s amazing 👏👏👏 you’re doing so good.

    Thanks I’m looking forward to my holiday with my mum in April and I will be happy to just be able to go some walks with her.
    Maybe later on when I feel fitter a walking holiday or even start with a walking group near me where I can go at my own pace but still have company.

    @Lou67 a walking group is a really good idea, we come across some walking groups when we are out with the dog and all the people who seem to join them seem to be friendly

    Oh you look after them so good, I just get upset that they don’t offer you anything for doing it. I know your not looking for anything but it would be nice if they did.

    @66Mustang
    Yes I’ve been thinking about a walking group for a while I’ve just been a bit apprehensive as I might hold them back, But I will definitely enquire about it when I feel better.

    @Jimm_Scope
    Hi Jim lovely to have you back I hope your keeping well.
    Im doing not to bad now just a bit off an ache at the back off my leg up the top.
    The hospital attached a pump thing to my knee to trying help heal a bit off the wound which is still open. It’s called a Pico 7 so fingers crossed 🤞🏾

    @Lou67 It's more of a niche so you might have to travel to the nearest one but I am sure I have heard of walking groups that are aimed at people who for what ever reason are not up to walking at full speed, or maybe you could start one!!

    @66Mustang
    Oh thats good I suppose I can research one that does aim at people that struggle walking fast.
    I don’t think I would have the confidence to start one myself not yet anyway 😊

    My partner is very particular about cleanliness too, they do have OCD. They manage it quite well now but there have been times, usually times of higher stress, where their hands get so irritated and can bleed from the amount of handwashing.
