    Morning everyone, same here with the wild and windy night. It's bin day today, so some people put their bins out last night and they're just all over the place this morning. I also had to go out and help the neighbours side-opening garage (they're away at the moment) as it had swung open and was banging around so wildly I'm surprised it wasn't damaged.

    Morning everyone! Seems a lot clearer down here today, very loud last winds last night though, wasn't sure my bedroom windows would last the night at one point! Hope you and all your loved ones have got through the storms without too much damage <3

    Oh thank you, they don’t keep you in long at all when I got my last knee done on the Thursday they said if I felt ready I could go home on the Saturday but I was in agony so I got staying till the Sunday.
    I personally think you should be in at least a week not that I like hospitals but it’s a big operation.

    I hope you’re keeping well. ❤️

    I'm not sure where to ask this. Someone made a discussion on the Education forum asking about a problem they have. I made a response to their discussion saying I could relate.

    I then went out for a walk and just got back and can't find it anywhere, the whole discussion seems to have been deleted.

    I'm only asking because I was interested to hear about someone else who had a similar issue and I was looking forward to see where the discussion went.

    Did the person turn out to be a spammer or something or was there some other reason it was deleted?

    Sorry to hear that @Ada sounds really painful. Do you find the TENS machine helps, I have family members who use them a lot.

    Hey @66Mustang, I can't talk about specific users, but discussions can be deleted for a number of reasons like the two you mention. I agree it was a potentially interesting topic, perhaps one we could still have in a new discussion?

    Hi @Ada, I'm good thank you for asking :) Sorry to hear about the pain, but sounds like you managed to get quite a bit done in the garden! Plus the weather is warmer now, how are you bar the pain of course?

    Aww thank you that’s really nice. I’m so sorry you are in so much pain all the time, I don’t know how you cope and with so little sleep to.

    Take care ❤️

    @Ada
    Aww thanks but your right what’s the point in moaning but sometimes it’s good to say how we are feeling. Even just to get the thoughts out our heads.🤗

    @Beaver79
    Yes definitely they get you out to quick, then like yourself a lot off people end up having to go back in it’s a shame.
    Oh I already get morphine so the last time I spoke with my doctor and he told me to take extra when I needed.
     He also gave me a sleeping tablets for the first 2 weeks as I couldn’t sleep.
    At least I know what to expect this time 😮😂

    ❤️

    It's actually turned out a nice day today, mild with a bit of sun. Still windy but not as bad

    I'm in awe of you all. Pain is so hard to cope with and you do it admirably.

    Tens machine I find good too. That and heat patches. I'm on butrans patch but it doesn't do much.

    Anyone any tips for lower back pain?

    I try to move about even though it's sore and distraction by reading. I'm a real bookworm.

    There's a great series of books by Michelle Vernal about the O'Mara family and the first is The Guesthouse on the Green. They are laugh out loud funny and are on kindle

    Lower back pain @Marydoll5 is something I put up with every day. I find heat from water bottles eases it, but when it's severe then ibrufen gel, heat, trying to move it and pain killers, when it flairs up.

    I've just noticed that it's past 4 o'clock and it's still light outside! Not quite so gloomy! Lighter days are on their way :)

    Haha, no @Ada I'm not a young boy. I think the anime-style, a drawing style from Japan, does come across as looking very young. I've been trying out different pictures as I wasn't too happy with what I was using before.
