Hey @66Mustang , my wife does the driving, i find it calms me down a lot when i get wound up from my nightmares, we drive to the local beach or for a longer drive up to southport, i like to be out, we went to the beach and had a sandwich which was nice4

So i am up at silly oclock, been awake a few hours now, damn nightmares again, i'm hoping my next round of counselling helps, least i've put in for them after delaying for a while, should be within 8 weeks, hoping its sooner, anyway, i'll do my chores and have a restful Sunday, i hope everyone has a nice day1

@ada I can relate I think to what you mean, I didn't experience things that you have experienced but when I have to talk about my intrusive thoughts it makes them worse for the next few days. I am always trying to push them to the back of my mind and talking about them does the opposite. Good luck though, you can do it

@grinchy sorry to hear you had a rubbish night, have you looked into EMDR? That was such a game changer for my PTSD.
Allo allo @66Mustang and @Ada Hope you both have a lovely day. Talking about stuff can really rattle the cage for a while, but ultimately, I find it helps in the long run. But it'll be different for everyone.
