Did you notice the tiny bit of wallpaper I tucked behind the mirror in a feeble attempt to get a 'feel' for what the room will look like once it's done? @Lou67

Morning all! Sorry for not checking in sooner, lots to catch up on!

@Ada I know it isn't easy talking to someone, but please know we're all super proud of you for taking that first step, that's brilliant.  Now allow yourself plenty of rest time, as it can play havoc with your noggin!

@Teigr that looks beautiful already! Dead jealous!

Sorry for not tagging everyone, but I've got 6 days to catch up on here haha.  I hope everyone's doing fab. <3

I'll post another photo once the floor's done @Lou67.

Hopefully sometime before the end of the month.

Unfortunately long term usage of may drugs means often the body (and brain) get used to them @Ada , so they lose their effectiveness. So it could be great for you, especially with all the new drugs that have come out.  I totally get the worry though, it's never fun changing medications, but it's usually worth it in the end.  :)

I had a lovely week thanks, I've planted more veg and got a little tank set up to hatch some newt eggs. But typically I'm under the weather today!  The boys are all doing great thanks, Baldrick is finally allowed solids again, so he's very happy. :)

    @Albus_Scope

Yes the wounds closed over 👏 I only had to send a photo to the department that was dealing with me, the nurse got back and said its looking good and I don’t have to go back.
Just to get in touch if I anything is wrong. I have received great care from them I’m so grateful.

To be fair @Teigr, while my mum is over on Saturday it's in part to help me with getting some recycling over to our local recycling centre. In fact apart from that, and then lunch with my mum afterwards, I don't have anything on this weekend really.

It shouldn't matter if it's over the phone or in person @Amberpearl from the perspective of the outcome. Of course it can matter if you find doing things in-person very anxiety inducing. Do you have someone to sit with you to support you through the assessment? They can help you remember things to bring up and just be a bit of support for what could be a stressful thing.
No I've nobody. I'm very nervous, can I write down what I want to say.  My signal on my phone not always the best and I'm. Worried Il be cut off

So do I still have a chance even. Though they can't see me

Yes, you can write down notes and everything you want to say. That's a really good thing to do, especially if there's nobody available to sit with you. If you have concerns about your phone signal let them know at the start of the call. They should attempt to call you back if anything happens. You still have a chance, even though they cannot see you. Many people have had telephone assessments and received PIP.

It is not surprising you are exhausted today @Ada You have done a really good thing. We are here for you if you need to chat. Take care.
To be honest At this moment I regret the phone call. I already went through all this chat with docs. Years ago.

All I wanted was sleepers that work. Now instead I have to cut back the strength on those that don’t work. I do get it. But it’s not going to get me sleeping. Have to see what these additional meds are he didn’t actually say just that there not a sleeper just will make me drowsy.
I just feel to old and to tired to go over old stuff.
And mr not happy. He likes things the way they are. It messes with routine. He’s had to go pick up my new strength meds and the additional ones. But doc only giving me a few days of the additional ones so it could mean mr got to go again next week.
Between me n you n Scope Family he has routine. Drink sleep drink. And once a month my meds.
He had to get up a hour earlier.
Wish I hadn’t made that call.

Sounds like your mr has a really hard life, drink sleep drink then has to get up an hour early,it must be difficult for him!

@Ada there's no need to apologise, you don't have to specifically say hello to everyone everyday! I know you wish me a good day regardless :)

I'm doing alright today thank you! I hope your new medication helps things
