    Hi everyone!!

    @Ada you are never too old to start something different or to try to improve your life!! :smiley:

    Age is, in some ways, only relevant when used view yourself relative to others...i.e. comparison...which in mental health, comparison/competition with others is usually something to be absolutely avoided

    View yourself as an individual and if you are 15 or 100+ it doesn't matter, if something is good for you then do it

    Honestly I sometimes think I am too old or too far gone, and I am "only" 30!!

    When I was 18 I couldn't imagine being 25, thought that was ancient
    When I was 25 I thought 30 was old
    Now I'm 30 it's fine
    I'm sure when I am 40 I will feel fine and think 30 was young

    Sorry if this sounds like  am lecturing but I just wanted to comment to try to make you feel a bit better :blush:

    I hope you manage to go!!! My Granny used to live near there and I went a few times, my favourite room was the gun room, the walls are lined with hundreds of old guns!!

    Morning Scope family, hope you all had a restful night.

    I woke up with a burst of energy this morning at around 7ish so went to the supermarket and did some shopping, starting to feel abit grim now though. I have my nan coming down today and I think we are going to the chippy again for lunch, my treat this time.

    @Ada your doctor sounds lovely. Glad you are getting help and on your terms 

    @Sandy_123 on a horrible day like today you are right not to overdo it especially seeing your daughter and family off before they emigrate

    @rubin16 sorry you feel wrecked now. I keep hoping for a burst of energy but it never comes.

    Terrible wind and rain here today and so cold too.

    Morning all I hope yous are all doing good, it’s been busy on here this morning. 
    I’m going to the hairdressers at 12.30 it’s badly needed lol

    Im so glad the doctor got back to you and also that the nurse will come and do your bloods.
    Ada you are not old I’m sure you’re only in your early 60s that’s no age at all, sorry if I’m wrong but think i remember you saying. Hopefully once your off the old meds completely and start new ones you get a better sleep and they’ll make a big difference to you.

    @Ada I'm glad to hear there's been progress with your GP, that's great news. Hopefully after a few days the new meds will kick in properly. :)

    I have a headache 

    Just had my pip assessment by phone 
    They brought it forward 
    Was supposed to be 320
    I had a phone call at 928 asking if the assessor can ring me in 20 mins 

    Lasted. Nearly 2 hours 
    I'm. Exhausted 
    I did my best

    It really took it out on me   she kept on asking me so many questions 
    Gave me a headache 
    She just said she will write up her report and write to me

    Does anyone know how long it takes 

    I. Really hope I can get something as I. Can't pay my energy debt. Now I have a water bill to pay within 2 weeks 

    It's such a worry 

    Is anyone else on pip?
    Was it hard at the assessment
