Hi @ada I hope you're OK today. I am hopefully going out for a dog walk today as it's not due to rain here have you got and plans??
@bloominthedark oh wow those ideas are more exotic than anywhere I've ever been, so sadly I don't have any opinions or experience, though I'd love to do those!! The only thing I know about Egypt is the market sellers can be almost aggressive and you need to be really firm and say "no" and they often won't take "no" for an answer
Hi @Teigr sorry to hear you had a bad head
I hope everyone else is OK too1 -
Good morning everyone! Since it's a cloudy morning, I only took my dog for a quick walk. Knowing it will be a busy day at work, I fueled up with breakfast and coffee beforehand.1

chiarieds said:Hi @Lou67 - I'm sure you enjoyed your week away as much as me, but lovely to see you back! You may already know, but when you have swelling in your legs you need to put your feet up higher than your heart. What then also helps is pulling your foot up at right angles to your lower leg, as this gets the muscle pump in your calves working to remove fluid. Also try circling your feet clockwise, then anticlockwise. Hope this helps; do a little & often.Yes I had a lovely time thank you and I’m sure you did to with your family 😊
Thanks for the tips I shall keep a copy of this. I hope you have a lovely day.

I’ve been on the phone to Capital One I noticed in my app a payment was made yesterday for an item I didn’t order 🤦♀️ there was another attempt to order something the other day to the lady said.
She’s stopped the card and will be doing an investigation, she will refund the money back on to my account. It’s a worry how these people can get access to your details. So everyone be vigilant it’s a worry.❤️1 -
It was from Crocs EU for £34.99
I knew that I hadn’t ordered anything at all yesterday I had been on the app in the morning making an extra payment then looked last night and saw it.The woman said another transaction was tried through the week but it didn’t go through.I had used my card once on holiday and she said she will check everything out.
I haven’t been able to make the payment for my mums phone yet. I am waiting on the lady that’s dealing with it getting back to me hopefully today.1 -
Woke up totally miserable 👍 I really wish I could learn not to be affected by others comments and shrug things off rather than being left feeling totally inadequate.
At least the dog seems content with me, or maybe it's because we're playing hide the treat 😂
Going to try a brief walk outside in-between the showers to try and lift my mood. The starlings have started to bring their young chicks out to feed so I've been watching them. When exactly do these young birds learn to pick the mealworms up by themselves rather than waiting for the adult to shove them into their mouths? Talk about stress! Those chicks cry and cry at the adult when they are literally standing on a mealworm 😂😂1 -
It is a worry @Lou67 I have a thing with my bank where if a purchase is a new 1 or somewhere I've not shopped before they send a text asking me then a confirmation on the website I'm using, which can be a pain at time as I have to log Into the app and confirm it. But it's also good3
