How is your day going?

I've had a fairly chill day, relieved a call saying my washing machine parts are in, however it's a pretty big job so they have to take my washing machine away and I will have a loan one. My machine was delivered the week before good Friday, on good Friday two of the long things in the drum snapped. It's finally getting sorted now (it was brand new too).
I'm absolutely exhausted no matter how much sleep I get I just can't get the energy.0 -
@loladale87
Oh no, sounds expensive..unless, is it a new machine getting fixed under guarantee??
We used to have a washing machine man who was really good as he’d almost refuse to sell you a new one if yours was at all repairable
We thought he was treating us kindly … till he bought a second house on our street to rent out … must have done well out of customers like us
Only being silly - he was good in all honesty0 -

On the 10th April I ordered a cooker from a website, it was meant to be delivered on the 10th, this was moved to the 2nd. On the 2nd they suspended the delivery and emailed saying they attempted to deliver it on the 3rd, I was in and they didn't. Anyway on the 4th I cancelled because I was being messed about and ordered one through amazon. It was meant to be delivered last Friday.0 -

I did get the paste @Sandy_123,I managed to nip out between downpours on Monday.I didn't want to risk walking all the way to the decorating supplies place so I got some in Home Bargains.
I should finish papering today,barring any unexpected delays.

Morning all I hope yous have a good day.
I’m a bit worried my mums got an appointment for a bowel scan and a heart lungs and liver scan today. This is the first ones she’s having after her cancer treatment stopped about 6 months ago.
Not sure how long it’ll be till she gets her results.
@Ada

@Lou67
I'm seeing my support worker today but then my grumpy relative is coming over
She is actually a bit better these days which is good I think!!! She upped her antidepressants and now she doesn't blame everyone else for her health problems as much, it makes people want to spend time with her, which should hopefully boost her mood because she used to get lonely as she pushed everyone away
I hope you get on well today, are you going with your Mum??1 -
Morning you lovely lot, it's lovely out there today!
@Lou67 best of luck to your mum, I remember how terrifying those days are.
@66Mustang hopefully grumpy relative is lots less grumpy today.

Thanks @Albus_Scope
I'm really looking forward to seeing my support worker though, I think I've helped myself so much in the last 6 months and we are working on what I can do next to keep things going. I've done all the easy stuff like sorting my weight and alcohol and stuff out but now it's time to look at stuff that involves other people, like socialising and work
I'm really sorry for going on about myself just I think 6 months ago I would have laughed at anyone who said I'd be in this position today and the fact I'm even considering work and meeting people socially is a big step2 -
@66Mustang
Oh I hope your appointment with your support worker goes well.
Thats great news your relative is a bit more pleasant to be around, that will make a massive difference for everyone, and will no longer feel a chore to be around them.No I’m not going to the hospital with my mum my niece is taking her as she drives.2 -
Morning @Lou67 hope your moms scans go OK and the results are good . I've no plans I do need to pop out for some milk tho.
@Teigr can't beat home bargains hope we get a pic
Good luck @66Mustang2 -
You're doing so amazingly well @66Mustang socialising is tough work, especially when you're out of practice. Just take things slow and don't jump into anything too huge to start with. Your support worker sounds ace.
I'm going great thanks @Lou67 working down in the shed today, so I can hear all the birds chattering away.2 -
@Albus_Scope
Oh that’s nice and hopefully if the weathers ok you can eat your lunch in the garden.@66Mustang
You have done amazingly over the past 6 months, you’ve been working on yourself a lot and it shows in your posts.We are all so pleased for you these changes will be making a big difference in your day to day life, now your willing to work even harder and do more positive things. So proud off you 😊
@Sandy_123
Thanks enjoy your walk to the shop. I’m just having my breakfast then I’m going to go out a walk I need to start pushing myself again.
@Beaver79
