Good Morning to each and every one of you. I do hope that all is well and life is treating you kindly today. I want to thank you all for your kind messages and thoughts over the past few days. It means a great deal.
Today, forgetting everything else is a struggle because of the rain. The rain causes me a lot more problems than the cold, as the dampness really seeps into my bones and joints. Mobility becomes difficult if not impossible. I am flat on my back staring at the ceiling. I am trying to read a history magazine but not finding it easy. Oh well, things could be worse. I just hope things improve for Duxford tomorrow.
Anyway, here's to you all πΊ. Take care my friends.

I meant to say that GCHQ is much more than an IT branch and yes the work is interesting....... Very interesting. So I have been told.

I'll be out in the garden hopefully over the weekend, or trying out the new Xbox @66Mustang fingers crossed you get to have a chilled one!
I'm back in the house today @Lou67 but taking breaks to go and hang out with my pigeon mates. π3 -
@AndyGT I meant to say they were recruiting people with autism for the IT part of it though, because they wanted to utilise their often logical and methodical way of thinking when it came to that side of it π
They were also willing to go beyond "reasonable adjustments" if the applicant's ability justified this, they offered some kind of mentor/minder type person to make sure they were comfortable working to the best of their ability
Seems like a great place to work IMO

@66Mustang
Sounds like a plan π@Albus_Scope
Enjoy your breaks in the garden.@AndyGT
Hi Andy Iβm sorry your suffering with your joints, you have my total sympathy as I also suffer with severe arthritis and the damp weather is a killer.
The heat is the only thing that gives me relief from it wether itβs a hot water bottle or heat packs. I hope your pain eases soon.β€οΈ

66Mustang..... It is a great place to work, whatever team you work in and they certainly go to the Nnth degrees to make adjustments and also make you feel welcome. There was a good TV programme (The Undeclared War) a couple of years ago if you see it around anout the place.
Lou67..β¦. Thanks fir your wishes, it means a lot and goes a long way to help. One of the hardest thing with me is accepting the way things are now. I haven't always been like this. I use to ne very active. I played Rugby, Badminton, Golf and whatever else took my fancy on a given day. I guess one of my biggest problems when I lay here like this is feeling sorry for myself. I try not to and mostly I don't. However, every nowcand them it creeps up me. I agree about the hot water bottles and heat packs. I find a long (about 2 feet) hot water bottle particularly helps.
Strawberry1...β¦. Thankyou do much for your blessings. It helps me a lot knowing that so many people care.
