How is your day going?

And I think I missed @Ada again, she's so speedy!

I'm still mooching around in my hoodie @Albus_Scope but I am wearing flip flops.
2 -
I haven't driven for over twenty years @Ada on account of my blackouts.
I like walking though so it doesn't really bother me and Mr Teigr could do with losing a stone or five.

That's pretty much as summery as I get @Teigr haha. Well, swapping boots for trainers and changing from a beanie to a baseball cap perhaps.😊
1 -
I'd send you some sunshine if I could @Sandy123.
I'll be glad to see the rain tbh, bits of the garden are looking quite floppy.
1 -
Yes,I'm not a shorts and vest kinda gal @Albus_Scope,rolling up my sleeves is as close as I get to stripping off.
2 -
We've got rain for the next seven days @Sandy_123 ,according to the weather peeps.
1 -
I'd be totally ok with a day or two of serious rain, the waterbutts are almost empty!
1 -
Me too @Albus_Scope,we've got a few plants that like a lot of water and the hose isn't the same as a decent downpour.
2 -
I feel fed up
Weather rubbish
I've no money
Lost my cats
Life is very lonely

Oh @Amberpearl I'm so sorry. I know there's probably nothing I can say to make things right, but you know we're all here if you want to talk things through?
1 -
The granny's bonnets have swooned @Albus_Scope and it's only a matter of time before the astilbes go crispy around the edges.
1 -
I can't abide a crispy astilbe @Teigr

Panic not,a week of rain will have them as perky as perky things at a 'Who's The Perkiest' contest.
I just hope it's proper rain and not that drizzly muck.

@Ada we took a drive out today. Its so quiet when you start it it plays a tune as the electric powers the car and its silent. It's really funny. Well done on the potting up too.
@rubin16 sorry you are still feeling nauseous and ill. I was a total girl and chose the car partly for the electric blue colour!
We had a bit of excitement in the street there. A new family moved in a couple of doors down from us last Friday. I heard all this squealing and the bin in the kitchen was on fire with loads of cardboard boxes around it.
My partner and his brother got a fire extinguisher and put it out waiting on fire brigade coming. Me and a few women looked after the mum and children. They were in shock and one child was sick. The mum was pregnant and didn't speak English and her daughter translated for me to come to our house to warm up and get tea.
Happy to report no real damage and everyone is alright. They are renting and are panicking the landlord will turf them out. It's awful that worry.
It's a lovely community in our street as everyone demonstrated today.
