-
It's more like march than june
Very cold here in Sunderland

Sorry you're not feeling good @rubin16 I was feeling sorry for myself yesterday because I had tummy ache in the evening but probably not as bad as yours
I have IBS and it's aggravated by certain foods and maybe anxiety but we can't really get to the bottom of what causes it
Why can't you swim anymore?? It sounds like it used to be a great thing for you. I'd like to swim myself but I have like 3 different significant things stopping me do it 🙁
-
Is it your birthday today @Amberpearl?? Sorry if I missed you saying
-
I have an ileostomy (stoma) so can't go swimming, I know apprently there is special things you can get to go swimming with however I am very self consious, I wouldn't want everyone seeing it and all my scars. Maybe if I could ever have a private pool with no one there I could haha
I have Autism, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Gilberts Syndrome and Crohn's Disease and have knowledge in these areas. -
Morning everyone, hope you're all doing well today! I'm quite tired today, I don't think this weather is helping.
They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with

Oh yeah I totally understand that @rubin16
I am quite self conscious for different reasons and that's one of the reasons I can't go swimming. Like you if I had a private pool I would be OK… I know you can have adaptations done in your house if you are disabled but I don't know if a swimming pool would count??? 😂
I actually remember a news article from like 10 years ago about a young lady who had a stoma, she was an otherwise normal looking person. I think she was a bit of an exhibitionist to be honest because the article was about how she would go to the beach and sit there in her bikini and stuff. But I think the point of it was about how very few people actually cared and she was able to go to the beach like anyone else. I think it shows that most of the self-consciousness is in your own mind if that makes sense???
-
Yeah I totally get that. Like me myself I build it up in my head to be this horrible thing that everyone is grossed out on. But in reality every relationship I have had, and friends I have told haven't cared to be honest. I think its my own self pride in a way that stops me. I also have very very bad RSD so maybe that is another reason why as well.

@rubin16 I'm just wondering but when you say "RSD" is that short for rejection sensitivity or is that something else?

No plans here @rubin16,I've just scaled the ironing mountain and now I'm going to finish a book I started yesterday.

I do all my shopping online. An absolute godsend for me ( housebound). But doing my Tesco order and I'd love to know why the news keeps saying prices are going down. I've certainly not noticed it, anything but.
Other than that, still fixated on the visiting rabbit. Apparently it's now half mine😁. It really belongs to my neighbour but spends a lot of time on my garden. This morning I went to put a couple of hand towels on the line. You've got to admire my optimism😄.
And there's the rabbit, pottering about at the bottom of the step. I tickled his little head and gave him a talking to about what greyhounds do to rabbits if they get chance! My dog is officially geriatric but I did think she was alert this morning. Now I know why! Rabbit tends to stay at the top of the garden, when my dog goes out the back she's on a long lead at the bottom. I knew I shouldn't have given him that chocolate digestive! Don't know if he was hoping for another one!
