I had the sandwich like an hour ago, but had to force myself to eat it in the end. I do generally feel like its just the heat putting me off eating as I feel well other than that.

❤️ I'm glad @rubin16!!!
Have you been up to much today?
I was just in my garden for a bit and had the crazy idea to paint all my fence panels. But they are very splintery so not sure if I need to do anything to them first? Feel like doing them like a rainbow, each plank a different colour!
-
Not done much today to be honest. I had my step dad round earlier and just been doing laundry and other bits but other than that nothing planned today. Its just too hot today even in my cool flat its warm.
@Biblioklept Having a rainbow coloured fence sounds fun, I'm not very good at DIY but maybe if they were sanded abit they might not be as splintery.

Sounds colourful, @Biblioklept
I haven't done a lot either @rubin16
-
Do you see your step father often @rubin16? The idea of sanding or anything else puts me off massively! I think it was a random impulse, I'm glad I didn't order the paint 🤣
-
Colourful but probably a bit crazy and a lot more work than I first thought @Sandy_123!!
-
Would of looked nice tho @Biblioklept
-
Yeah I see him twice a week, I say step dad to make it easier for people to understand but I call him dad and he pretty much claimed me as his son when my actual dad wasn't on the scene. My sister is my step dads daughter. I only really got to know and be around my real dad since I was 12.

True @Sandy_123! Do you have anyone looking after you today? I hope it's a doctor that calls you tomorrow
Families are complicated @rubin16, I do the same when talking about my step mum too, although she wasn't great she was my mum to me, but I use step mum so people see the relation.
How old is your sister? Do you see her much? ❤️
-
No @Biblioklept I'm just doing as less as possible sat in the shade and came in was too hot
-
Me @Ada yes I'm lurking today
-
Sorry for the late response @Biblioklept, I have been a bit busy. I feel like I can open up on here because I feel like people understand me more on here than my family. I don't understand why I am scared either. Although my mum's ex broke into the house and smashed a glass window on the floor all around me but thankfully I didn't get hurt, and I'm in a wheelchair so I feel vulnerable and helpless.
-
Shes 36 and lives in Australia so don't get to see her much anymore, although she does come over and we spend some time with each other.
@Sandy_123 Take it easy today and look after yourself.
@Ada did the district nurses come? and hows your tummy?

I hope everyone is having a nice day!!! 😊
Sorry for not being on here, I got back from my appointment but then I slept for 2 hours, so I'm only just back 😂
How is everyone??
-
I hope the appointment went ok @66Mustang I approve of the tactical nap afterwards, I'd have done the same haha.
I am melting and my dogs are very bored and want me to play with them. I've tried explaining it's too hot for old pooches to be playing. 😆

Thanks @Ada and @Albus_Scope etc. 😊
Ada - Jenson does that sometimes when we go out, he whines when we go out without him, then when we get home he sometimes doesn't come down to greet us because he has the hump 😆

Hi everyone
The lashes were natural and look surprisingly good. It will stop me having panda eyes as I won't need to wear mascara. It always ends up above and below my eyelids. My eyes watered like mad when it was done but the lady put a cool fan on them and that sorted it. They are not heavy and I'm really pleased.
@ada glad the nurse is getting the gp involved about your tummy pain. Tens machines are great. I use one if back pain gets too much.
@rubin hope you feel like eating soon
@beaver79 hope your doggy picks up quickly
@Sandy_123 there's nothing quite like homemade veg soup and chicken to ease your throat 😋
-
I'm glad you had a good time @Marydoll5 😃
