Still waiting I don't really want to ring them back because they'll think I'm pestering0
-
I'll give them till 4pm then I'll ring before they all shut for weekend0
-
Good afternoon everyone
I have been a bit busy today, I quite like being busy, now settling down but we are going to walk the dog in a bit
I hope everyone else is having an OK day2 -
I'm seriously going to give up, on hold, last time it got cut off1
-
Glad you're managing to keep busy @66Mustang, just don't overdo it please.
@Ada I hope there's everything you need at the chemist this time. And yes thanks, I've had my lunch and did my 16 mins, so I'm aching now, but it's a good ache.
I hope you've had some joy with the docs @Sandy_123, what a pain!2 -
Ok that's me done after being on hold for for ages she couldn't hear me so hung up. I'm not bothering now0
-
That's so rubbish! @Sandy_123 are you able to speak to someone on 111 and see if they can get an emergency script sent to your pharmacy?1
-
Oh no that’s a blooming shame Sandy, you were supposed to be getting a call between 10-12 I think.
You really need the antibiotics too.
Get back on to them you can’t go all weekend without them.I’m really lucky I have a great doctors. I can send the doctors a msg on ask my gp.I did this yesterday at 3 o’clock sending a photo off my leg.One of the doctors called me back at 10 past asking me to go over.
It’s an amazing service I think all surgery’s should do this.
@66Mustang
Glad you’re having a good day.

No I'm done with it, its been all day long waiting around. Carrying my phone everywhere even to the loo lol. I'm past caring. They've got less then an hour to ring b4 they and the local chemist shut1
-
When we phone our surgery we're on hold for forty five minutes and then we get cut off.

It sounds like the GP surgeries are useless all around the country.
Ours tell you to ring up at exactly 8.00am and it takes over an hour and a half to get through, by which time they tell you there are no appointments left and if you are that bad then go to A&E or ring 111.
We have decided that from now on we are just going to ring 111 without even trying the GP, because all the GP does is refer you to 111.
When they get enough people ringing 111 with just something like a headache maybe they will have the bright idea of having these buildings with doctors in them that people can go to when they feel unwell but not like it's an emergency, they could call them something like General Practitioners.2 -
Thanks @Ada, I'll spend most of it sleeping I'm sure. You'll have the rest of our lovely team to chat to as well.
@66Mustang I call it "The GP Lottery" will you win an appointment? Nobody knows! It's very frustrating.2 -
