How is your day going?

Wish we had that rule in our house @Sandy_123! I found £50 the other day tucked down the sofa, but it was apparently a housemate's Christmas present from their nan. So alas, no fun things for me!1
-
Aww shame that @Rosie_Scope but I bet your friend was pleased. I don't like 50 pound notes a lot of shops refuse them. Unless you use a big chain shop. Not that I have a lot of them.1

Evening all1

I found three quid today @Sandy_123,it was in Mr Teigr's coat pocket but it's mine now.3

Oh no, hopefully they'll do a pick up as soon as snow goes, be a bit of a pain if they leave it to next time2
-
It's so cold here today and we've had a weather warning about strong gales 'causing a danger to life'.
I'd best leave my kayak in the garage then.1 -
Our rubbish is taken away every three weeks(unless you live in a flat or in sheltered accommodation),recycling is picked up every week;same as food waste and nappies.
Garden waste is taken away every other week between the end of March and sometime in November, you have to pay extra for that though.1 -
Trying to fetch charges here for garden waste too but they already have fly Tipping problems. Will only increase it I think. Rediculas really, like you say, the fat cats in the council with their buffets, last year they all had air conditioning installed, because it was too much effort to plug a fan in1
-
They've just started charging people to have their Christmas trees taken away, five quid and they have to wait almost a month for them to be collected.
I don't think there were too many takers.1 -
The last time we had a bin collection cancelled because of bad weather they came round the following day.

Anyone got any good snow pics? We didn't get any.....1

None here @Autism_at_40
@teigr everyone here donated their trees to a farmer who requested them for his sheep, who knew sheep eat them1
