Trying to fetch charges here for garden waste too but they already have fly Tipping problems. Will only increase it I think. Rediculas really, like you say, the fat cats in the council with their buffets, last year they all had air conditioning installed, because it was too much effort to plug a fan in
-
They've just started charging people to have their Christmas trees taken away, five quid and they have to wait almost a month for them to be collected.
I don't think there were too many takers. -

Garden and food waste every two weeks same bin. No charge. This week was rubbish and garden and food waste bins so the Council will have to do something as they will not wait until next time. Everyone in my Close has left both bins out. Plus it puts the bin cleaner out of his work when not collected.
-
The last time we had a bin collection cancelled because of bad weather they came round the following day.

-
I would leave them out @Beaver79 chances are they will come but every 3 weeks is a bit too long, okish in winter but summer with the flies
-
Anyone got any good snow pics? We didn't get any.....
-
None here @Autism_at_40
@teigr everyone here donated their trees to a farmer who requested them for his sheep, who knew sheep eat them -
We didn't get any either @Autism_at_40,we never do.
Well hardly ever,we did have a sprinkling of it last March. -
Beaver79 Community member, Community Co-Production Group, Scope Member Posts: 21,306 Disability GamechangerOptionsWe were not asked they just said they needed to save money been like this for two years. We are allowed to put rubbish in bags in the bin. In the summer I wipe the bin lid and round the rim everyday with Dettol wipes to keep the files away. Nightmare. @Sandy_123
-
You watch we will wake up tomorrow snowed in now lol
-
I hate it I do get maggots on top of my bin around the rim in summer, I've tryed some scented bin stuff inside the bin. Have to spraying fly spray over it to kill them

Same here Neighbour @Teigr we watch snow on the mountains occasionally but hardly never in our valley.
-
This is what the garden looked like last March @Ada and @Autism_at_40.
-
Mr Teigr has just checked the forecast and informed me that it's supposed to snow at 11 o'clock tonight.
-
Zero for us in the Midlands altho all the cars are covered in heavy frost already. Lovely garden @Teigr

I'm not expecting it to snow here but I won't mind if it does.
-
Tomorrow I'll try and dig out a photo of it when everything was in bloom @Sandy_123.
