Morning all I hope yous have a lovely day.
My mum and I are having a lovely relaxing holiday. We are just going in for breakfast.
@SunflowerValley
As Mary said don’t give yourself a hard time, have a think what other things you like doing, there’s a lot of adult colouring In books that are great, podcasts could be something else. I hope you find something else that interests you until such times I hope you find something decent to watch on tv.@Marydoll5
Good luck with your appointment today I hope you’ve enjoyed having a few days to recover from the wedding.❤️

Morning all.
We're expecting the 'tail end' of a hurricane here.
Oh the excitement.

Morning all 😊
A hurricane @Teigr? Well, as long as it doesn't get too warm I'll be happy
Hope the breakfast is nice @Lou67 🙂🍳
How are you doing today @talis?
That sounds like a lovely gift for your partner @Marydoll5! I don't go out of my way to identify birds but when I come across an interesting one I actually have an app on my phone that can help me identify it. I have another one that does plants! I've learnt about so many wild flowers this past year..

I must check that out for myself...Mr is a technophobe!!

Morning everyone, I've been suffering from a bad cough and cold the past few days. Hope it clears up by Thursday/Friday as meant to go have my first infusion at hospital. They can't give it if I have any signs of infection/illness as it lowers my immune system and is dangerous.
@Marydoll5 Glad the wedding went well and you had a lovely time. Goodluck with the appointment today.
@Lou67 Have an amazing holiday, the pics look lovely where you are. I really really need to get over my fear of flying so I can experience the world. I feel like i'm missing out. I might look at holidays that are not too far by plane at first like Ireland or Jersey/Guersey but I really hate flying.
Hope you all have a really nice day whatever everyones plans today are. Sorry not been on much, been feeling abit rough past few days

Hope you feel better soon so you can get the infusion @rubin16 How long does the infusion take by the way? It was offered to me as an option, but I chose the injection pens and I think I prefer it. Would be interesting to know about it incase the injection pens ever stop working though.

I'm not too sure, from what I remember it takes a few hours so like 2/3hours I think. You have to have it as an infusion at first but I think later you can have it as an injector pen I think at home, after you have built it up in your system. I'm going to take a book I got from the library with me.
@Marydoll5 Yeah Ireland is in my blood haha, I'm half irish and half scottish but I've never been to Ireland or Scotland. I'm going to hopefully try and go Scotland next year but after I want to try and venture out abit further.

Ah, where are you going in Scotland? I lived in the central belt for several years. I really do quite miss it.
Also, the infusion does sound like very good book reading time. Something I've been trying to do more. So perhaps the infusion will have positives if I have to try it someday 🙂

@rubin16 good luck that your cold goes before your hospital visit. If you hate flying the euro tunnel goes to most places in Europe. Also cruises
Good luck today @Marydoll5

I'm not sure where to go yet in Scotland, looking at another coach holiday with maybe visiting some Loch's. I've always wanted to go Loch Ness as I find it fancinating all the myths and legends round there. Not booked anything yet though.
I enjoy reading but really struggle to read as my mind wanders so much with ADHD, so mostly I end up reading the same lines over and over without them sticking in. I'm hoping with being chained to the chair while having the infusion and not being able to move or do much, it'll give me a chance to get into my book properly.

Thanks @Sandy_123. Yeah in my head I know flying is one of the safest, and its safer than driving yet I'm still scared to fly haha. I wouldn't mind a cruise one day though. But my dream is to visit places in the future and explore. One of the things I'm interested in is history so visiting ruins in Greece like pompai and things in Rome and other places.

I am so so. Yesterday my eyes were very floppy as if I could not open them completely. I am not sure if it is the medication or what it is. I am having serious trouble sleeping lately.
Not sure if it is a side effect of the medication. Today I am better but I can barely fully open my eyes . Mentally I am a mess. But I hope things will get better. Take care you all..

I have the opposite issue. For me reading often causes hyperfocus with my ADHD.
The reason I wear glasses is because when I was a child, 7-10ish, I would read books until 2-4am. My parents took my reading night light away (they had got it for me because I enjoyed reading, but they didn't think it would mean I'd be reading until 4am!).
So instead I tried reading via the dim streetlight coming in through my bedroom window. A few to several months later and I could no longer read the whiteboard in school.
One of my regrets when living up there is not visiting the Highlands enough. I visited Loch Lomond and Perth, but never any further. You know when you can do something almost anytime, so you never actually plan to do it?
We hope to move back up to Glasgow someday. When I do I think I'll make the trip to Skye. A great aunt I was very close to is buried there and I'd like to visit it.

@Jimm_Scope
I will meet up with yous for a coffee and cake lol your right it’s the same for me I hardly visit the lovely places that aren’t to far from me yet people travel from all over to visit them.
I must make more off an effort to do it.@rubin16
I hope your feeling better by the time your appointment is. I hope you get to visit the places you’d like to see in the not to distant future.❤️

Hi @Schildpad I hope your eyes improve for you
Im shattered took my grandson to town, we had Costa and went to lunch, then did a food shop in Tesco. Were both going to chill out for a bit

Just had a message off Dr they spoke to dermatology who suggested a different cream, so had to ring boots to take yesterday's cream that was prescribed away before delivery tomorrow, otherwise will be a waste.

@Sandy_123 thank you. I hope they get better. They look like I am in drugs. Well I am maybe that is why. Has to be venlafaxine as I do not recall that with mirtazapine.. I went to my volunteering this morning and later on to a walk . I am too knackered but I need the exercise even if in pain. Time to relax now.

Yes take time to relax if your eyes are no better then see the GP @Schildpad
