    Morning all.

    Our son 'volunteers'(LOL) in a second hand furniture shop and their prices aren't too bad;some of them to take the mick though.

    We have a second hand furniture shop in our town and they offer to take used furniture away, but they are extremely picky about what they will take, they essentially just want brand new stuff. The flip side of that is their stuff will probably be of a good standard for anyone making a purchase.

    Glad you’re ok I hope you enjoy your dog walk if you get out.

     My knee is not too bad at all, it’s the rest off my leg that’s gave me more bother, but hopefully with these extra painkillers it’ll ease off.
    I have 3 more antibiotics to take today and 2 for tomorrow, if the infection isn’t cleared I will get another course.

    Oh hopefully this’ll get better, but the painkillers I’m on are for other things to I have arthritis and nerve damage in my feet and hands, then a year and a half ago after more X-rays I found out I have arthritis in both hips 🙄
    Im falling apart lol.

    Morning everyone! Hope you're all doing okay today. I think we'll be missing the snow down south but we'll have heavy rain for a few days instead.

    I'm starting to think about what to grow in the veg garden this year, so if anyone's got any suggestions let me know! I'm thinking about peppers and runner beans so far.

    The furniture's a bit of a mixed bag in the shop where our son's been dumped @66Mustang,some of it looks good but there are a few bits and pieces that wouldn't look out of place in a skip.

    I got an appointment through the other day for March, but it’s a video call that’s what happened after my last knee got done.
    I don’t think it’s the best to be honest as they can’t examine you, it’s just questions then I was asked to let her see me walking.

    Mr Teigr was offered a phone appointment after is cancer surgery @Lou67,when his consultant found out about it he had it cancelled and arranged a face to face one.

    Yes @Sandy_123,we used to have a second hand furniture shop in one of the villages near us,they were looking for two grand for second hand settees.

    @Teigr if it was in a village I imagine they thought themself more of a "boutique offering a selection of preloved pieces" rather than a "second hand furniture shop"?
