    Morning all I hope yous have a good day whatever yous are doing.
    Its dry and bright here just now but a bit chilly.
    The nurse came she said she can’t take the staples out, she said the scar would just open back up if she did. It’s wet feeling and it could be the infection that’s caused it. So to wait another week.

    Aww glad your eyes much better, I’m gutted couldn’t get the staples out, I’m dying for a nice hot bath. Can’t have one till they are out.

    Oh no @Lou67 maybe for  the best you wait. I'm sure you can buy special bags to put on for a bath. But I have know  carers use black bags to cover the area, but probably best to wait  for that too

    Aww I can have showers and just trying keep the water from hitting it a lot. But they say not to have a bath as soaking in hot water can reopen the wound. 
    I’m going to msg the doctors about the numbness and pain. The nurse said it could be nerves In my leg causing it.

    Sorry yous must be sick listening to me 🙄

    No call yet, a freind wanted to meet for coffee I may have to cancel 

    Finally she's refused the biotics  even tho I told her it needs to be with the steroids. Just got to wait until she gets it signed off from from a Dr as she is a pharmacist.

    The doctor got back to me she said it probably is nerve damage. I’ve had this in my feet for a long time and it seems worse, but she sd that's due to surgery. 
    She’s upping the dose off painkiller’s I already get for this.
    If the infection doesn’t seem better by Thursday when my antibiotics finish I will need another course. 
    So I feel better after speaking to her.

    I've just got back from the chemist @Beaver79 .got 5 n half days of steroids, hopefully will do the trick if not be doing same again.
    Hopefully  biotics  are OK @Lou67 until Thursday for your  leg.
    It's raining heavy here too

    @Lou67 you will be glad when your wound is healed and you can soak in the bath for ages.

    @Sandy_123 it's so frustrating trying to speak to or see a gp snd you know from experience that you need antibiotics as it's only going to get worse 

    I watched an episode of my 600-lb life where are they now? And was nearly shouting at the TV as the woman squandered her chance and didn't lose weight and ended up bed bound.

    Her husband was awful and didn't want her to change even though it was killing her. 

    It's horrible here....dull and rainy

    Yes I've got a good coat but changed my trousers as they were soaked, I'm expecting a puddle on the floor where my coat is hung on the door.

    We're supposed to be eating out tonight @Ada (Mr Teigr's mum's idea) but I don't want to leave the house.

    It's blowing a gale now too.
