Morning folks! There's some sun here today, but it's definitely hoodie weather, brrrr. I hope everyone has a fab day today. ❤️

Heating certainly isn't the cheapest thing these days @xodza I always try and heat the person, not the house.

Morning... I am too early as I am too worried I will be late for this appointment . Now I know where it is i am making time with some coffee and a piece of cake. I truly hope it will be ok whatever it is today if an assessment or a treatment. I have been for so long and tried so many things that I am already telling to myself it will not work. But I have to be positive so I will see how it is going..

It is certainly on the cold side today but it will warm up later. In any case the cold weather is coming. So time to start thinking about putting the heater on. It is obvious the nights are getting colder and also the mornings. Also tell us how fast time passes.. it is very scary..

That's an excellent plan @xodza putting money aside in the warm months definitely takes the sting out of having to put the heating on in the cold months.

It does feel like time moves faster as you get older @Schildpad I remember an hour lasting forever when I was younger. 😆

Thanks @Albus_Scope always helped for me putting little bit each week so when comes to use 20 pounds in seven days does help when your on low budget only heating room you use most and turning off some other radiator that not in that room so that helps as well set your thermostat on lower number takes less money remember the energy man say have on lower number for your heating otherwise it like burning extra energy that cost more

Very well said @xodza I think last year the campaign was "heat the room, not the house" and it certainly saved me a few pennies. 😊

It IS a bit cold today. I am not sure about the assessment but I don't think it went well. And they said they "only" do CBT. I know they do EMDR but I hint they will not offer it to me. They said they need to get back to my hospital. My gut feeling tells me I will be moving yet again like a ball.

anyway i am home now.. again in pain. the older i get the more pain i get . i wil stay at home until tomorrow. i hope i can go and do my stuff and back home later on. i feel if i am not alone i feel less depressed and at the same time i do not really want to see people.

i just feel like my assessment was pointless and they will not see me.. i hope i am getting all this wrong. but i am tired of fighting really, every day seems like a battle i have to deal with. hope you all have a nice afternoon and evening. weather is a bit better now but yes weather has changed… it gets darker earlier and it will feel like there is no daylight. pointless because at the same time i live with my blinds down all the time so i do not know.

i am considering a two wheel scooter but i am at the same time not sure as they are demonized by people for going too fast so i might have to stick with a manual one. i guess it will help me with my pain or maybe not. i am not sure. it needs to be something i can lift and something i can bring back home. . but with my pain not sure if it is better or worse than walking. i will want want with big wheels.. A bike it will be too risky to leave it outside and too heavy to bring it home. also the pain involved because o fthe posture… Maybe a dutch bike but they are heavy…. and also no room at home.. so a two wheel scooter will have to be.. but still it is a maybe as i am not sure. keep picturing situations about not letting me to go to places and those scooters can not be locked.. maybe some one will have one. as i said non electric.. i would not use it on the road as it is too dangerous.

Don't forget @Schildpad you need a full or provisional UK driving licence with category Q entitlement to ride a rental e-scooter in the UK, and to own or use a privately-owned e-scooter in public, as e-scooters are considered motor vehicles and must be insured and taxed, which requires a license.

Though you can get fairly decent basic 2 wheel scooters that fold up. Would that be more useful?

i am thinking about a big wheels 16 inch two wheel scooter non electric so manual.. i am looking but it has to have big wheels. and it can not be electric… small wheels will not move much. i doubt many of the people riding one will have a driving licence. i am meaning to use it on the pavement but as it is manual i can go slow. there are loads on the net. but choosing the right one it will take time.. also maybe amazon as i can have it delivered down the road and not needing to be at home. i keep looking. i am not sure also with my leg problem and back one if the having to move my leg or legs every time will be painful. i am just a bit not sure.. but walking it is becoming more and more painful.
