Thank you. Then your UC will include TP. I also see that you have a spare bedroom, are you aware that you maybe able to claim for an extra bedroom if you need regular overnight care. See link for more information. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/help-if-on-a-low-income/housing-benefit/how-an-extra-bedroom-affects-your-housing-benefit/check-if-youre-allowed-an-extra-bedroom-for-housing-benefit/ to claim this then speak to your local Authority.

This isn't available in all Local authorities. I just had a look on mine and there's nothing available. What each one may offer will depend on what funding they received for this tax year.

It makes you very self conscious now what you get. I get cats food etc for my cats, but apart from food shopping for myself and daughter, I get things from charity or discount shops. I don't drink or smoke, last holiday was 10 years ago ,a few days with my late sister in London. I used to care for my late mum, and my brother came up for a few days so I could take my daughter to a concert she wanted to go to.

Some people, with the finest support for their physical and mental health humanity can offer will never be able to work. Some people are retired. It should not surprise anyone to learn that the percentage of the disabled rises with age. There seems to be a fixation that all disabled people are of working age. 'For people who cannot work we guarantee security.' That';s something, but what does it mean to single wheelchair-bound woman of 75, who isn't me, but might be in 5 years' time. And while I'm on the subject, don't know that I care to be referred to as someone who 'cannot work'. as though ability to work was a defining criterion. I'm nearly 69, enjoying a well-earned retirement. https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/healthandsocialcare/disability/articles/disabilitybyagesexanddeprivationenglandandwales/census2021
