The rent came off in the 11 May payment aswell so all will be the £1388.34 the next few months as our new normal payments now.
As it was £1447.62 in April£1415.64 in May
£1388.34 in June

Yes, unless your circumstances change your June payment amount will be what you get until your rent changes again.
Standard UC rates (not entitled to Transitional Protection & assuming disabled child to match your family) for the circumstances you describe would be:
Couple standard allowance £666.97
Child element £ 351.88
Disabled Child Element £514.71
Two Carers Element £418.68
Total £1952.24
Carers Allowance x 2 deduction £749.24
Total UC payment £1203
Obviously subtract the Disabled Child Element if that's not the comparison you were looking for.

without child disabled in it would be minus that?

Yes, I've just edited my post so minus the DCE amount if that isn't the comparison you are looking for.

I’m thinking ahead to when our child doesn’t receive DLA due to age but still in full time education that’s all. Thank you for your help.
I’m still confused why our April payment was different from the May one then different again in June. But doesn’t take much for me to get confused with how my brain works differently.

Various changes to your entitlement which happened in May & June mean in May, then again in June, your payment went down and so was different from April.
You'll now receive that amount each month until your circumstances change again.
I too have a May payment different to April, then a different payment again in June - and my circumstances are completely different to yours 🙂 It's various changes happening at different times.
Because you get Transitional Protection I'd recommend getting advice from a trained benefits advisor on estimating future UC awards when there are changes with your child.

This is an open forum, you don't need permission to ask a question 🙂

Thank you m, I get anxious of asking incase I annoy someone,
So If a couple over 25 have a child how is it that they don’t get the full amount for that ? Is there like a limit allowed? Is it cos we get carers allowance? For our adult children? And rent paid to social housing?
I know it’s probably basic for most to understand but for myself it is not. I appreciate any kind comments or advice given. :)0 -
Universal Credit is a means tested benefit. It is also an income replacement benefit.
Carers Allowance, alongside State Pension, New Style ESA etc are also income replacement benefits and under the welfare system, a person or couple cannot have multiple income replacement benefits while claiming means tested support.
Those income replacement benefits are treated as unearned income which means full deductions from the Universal Credit award.

Ok so a couple over 25 with 1 child with the above circumstances would not receive the £666.97 & the £351.88 together because we care for our 2 adult kids? Thank you

Universal Credit works by first adding up entitlements then making any deductions, leaving a balance that is then paid into your bank account.
Carers Allowance is always deducted in full from a Universal Credit award, single person or couple, kids or no kids.
From the posted statements your UC award is correct - your entitlements as a couple have been added up, then a deduction made for Carers Allowance x2.
Perhaps it might help you to consider that your overall income is Carers Allowance plus Universal Credit.

I got this on my UC journal , I wonder how they work it out?
as it was £83.30 each week each of us & now £86.45 each week each of us , I’m just curious how many days or weeks they work it out over.0
