Hi @cupcake88 I am so sorry they do not seem to be taking you seriously. Did they give you the results of the brain scans you had? Please take care of yourself.

Oh @cupcake88 - I'm so sorry. Have you any idea as to when you'll get an appointment with your specialist? This is a very difficult time for you, & I can only hope you'll get seen quickly.
Please know we're all here for you, & sending very gentle hugs, xx

Hey cupcake88,
I hope you get the correct specialist help. Keep us updated. My child received a referral to the MDT( Neurologist, FND Physio Therapist Specialist, OT and Mental health. There was no medication for the condition unfortunately the seizures were non-epileptic. Hope you receive a diagnosis soon.

Hey cupcake88 Just hang in there hun, good that you have an appointment at least. Just keep safe, try to stay in a place where you're less likely to get damaged if it happens. I feel so bad for you - I remember witnessing someone going through this when I was a child and all I remember was all the blood and banging and injuries the poor guy picked up! His mates used to put him stupid places where he had no space or next to walls so he damaged himself. Please stay safe as you can and don't think twice about calling 111 again if you need! Could your husband put a mattress in the middle of a room for you? Just trying to think of somewhere you can be where you're safest. Boring to stay in bed I know, but just until your appointment. Please rest up and be safe - lots of love ❤❤❤❤

Sorry you're still struggling so much @cupcake88, it doesn't sound easy.
Did they give you any information about how to keep yourself safe at home while you're waiting to see your specialist? Some of the Epilepsy charities have some tips if you'd like to read them. Most of the tips are useful for anyone who is having seizures whether it's epilepsy or not:
Safety and risk | Epilepsy Society
Fingers crossed your appointment goes well and they can help get things under control, I can imagine it's a really worrying time for you.

Aww hi it’s been a long time since you’ve been on I’ve often wondered how your doing.
I haven’t been on here much the past few weeks that’s why I hadn’t seen your msg but one off our good friends let me know you had posted.
Im so sorry to read you’ve been taking seizures it must be awful and frightening for you.
I really hope your appointment next week goes well. You have dealt with so much in the past and you always fought hard I’m delighted you now have a great support system in place for you.
It took a long time for that to happen it’s so sad you had to go through such a tough time.Great to hear from you but I’m so sorry for what your going through.
Take care and goodnight 💕💕

thanks all my lovely friends I do have a update for you yesterday I had 4 seizures ended up in hospital they sent me back home . Today I had 2 my husband called an ambulance they have taken me to a different hospital and I’m just waiting to be seen . The ambulance crew are hoping a fresh set of eyes may help they might even have a specialist come and see me that would be ideal I’m currently waiting now x

OMG cupcake88 I can't believe you keep getting taken to hospital and sent home again! What the…?!
I'm glad you're somewhere different - please don't be afraid to put your foot down and demand some answers. Remind them that constant ambulances and hospital trips aren't a good use of NHS resources when they could just determine the problem and try to address it. I get the 'waiting' thing normally but you're having way too many seizures to ignore. Good luck and let us know how you go! ❤

hi they sent me home this morning again just telling me to call a ambulance it’s getting silly now . I finally got some where I rang neurologist again and begged them for help the early appointment is Wednesday but I can’t carry on like this so she said to give this number a call and one of the nurses should be able to help why didn’t they give me this number in the first place .
I don’t know I’m getting messed about I thought mental health services were bad well general hospitals are just as bad . These are very scary what’s happening to me . I appreciate the support on here I love you all I’m going threw such a hard time but I always have my friends on here xx
