Oh @cupcake88 I'm so sorry to hear that, but at least you're in the right place. I really hope they can get to the bottom of the seizures soon. Stay safe.

thanks again to all my lovely friends on here I will say that as a patient in a general hospital for physical illness vs being in a general hospital due to a mental illness your treated a lot better I think it’s because the general nurses don’t understand mental illnesses

hi every one I was discharged yesterday came home let my dog out then I remember waking up on the floor my dog was still out side I had wet my self and my joints felt like I had been hit by a bus so I called a ambulance well I called 111 they called a ambulance again they said I need to wait for a specialist apparently fits aren’t an emergency. I mean I think it’s a joke I have to go to a n e each time it’s so hard as the 4 nearest hospitals are all 50 mins away . It feels so strange being in a general hospital I’m just not used to it im used to mental health wards .

Oh what a homecoming @cupcake88 - are you in hospital now? What an odd thing to say about seizures - you'd have thought at least the severity of them needs to be taken into account, & ending up on the floor surely means you need checking out. You really aren't safe if you're at home on your own if you get no warning about a seizure & you fall.
I hope you're feeling OK at the moment. Hugs are on the way, xx

This definitely sounds like seizures to me, so find it appalling that 111 have told you to wait. I have epilepsy from focal all way to TC, and my partner is "supposed" to 999 for me.. I don't always let that happen due to post ictal reasons. I get that your situ sounds pretty complex, but surely a multi-disciplinary team meeting should be sped up?. Could you get in touch with Patient Advice and Liaison Services?
Main thing is to make sure to keep safe and rest if you can, and hope you get some answers soon.

hi every one I was back in hospital and discharged again saying the same thing wait for the specialist. I’m in such a bad way and I can’t believe there leaving me like this .

Sorry to hear you're having a hard time @cupcake88, seizures are really scary. I hope you get some answers soon and you're not waiting too long to speak to the specialists. Did they give you any idea how long you might be waiting?

Hi @cupcake88 - you'd have thought looking at your medication to see what may help with your seizures would be urgent. I hope you're OK today other than the worry of not having anything as yet put into place. Love, xx

hi every one I had a update the specialist should be writing to me in a few days so fingers crossed it’s soon I’m on the emergency list which is better than being on the normal list because I can’t carry on like this . It’s starting to affect my mental health now all of this it’s becoming very stressful . My mental health has been really good lately and now this not very good at all .
