Good to hear you've been doing well with your mental health up until recently @cupcake88 - hopefully you'll just have to hold on for a few more days, xx

Sorry to hear you've had another fit @cupcake88 in this situation I'd say do what you feel is best, it's your body and you know it best.

hi I think I’ll leave it because the back and forth to hospital is triggering me . I just feel like I’m sectioned again I know general and mental health hospitals are completely different but I can’t help feeling like that .
I have been doing my level 3 in child care because I at some point want to work with children but I’m not sure if it’s gonna be possible with me now having fits . It’s just one thing after the other for me . I wouldn’t say my mental illness have gone because there still there but I’m learning to accept my illnesses and learning to live with them even tho it’s hard I feel like I’m in such a good place at the moment and now all these fits are just bringing me down .

for those of you who know me well on the forum you will know I suffer with mental illnesses and you have all supported me the many times I have ended up on a section or been hospitalised things haven’t been easy for me but I have 2 mental health nurses and a support worker and a ot . I’m getting loads of help which is great because it hasn’t always been like that for me .
Now I’m in and out of hospital for my physical health it’s just very triggering for me as you can all understand

Just to let you know I'm thinking about you @cupcake88 - how wonderful you're studying childcare; keep up with it, for once your seizures are under control you'll be back to your new good self. It's great to hear you've finally got the support you had needed for a long time, & are therefore more than coping with your mental health problems. All credit to you, xx

Hi @cupcake88 I hope you are feeling better this evening 🤗 You mentioned the seizures and working with children, so I just wanted to say that my friend has seizures and does work with children. I think it’s great that you are doing level 3 in childcare. Take care.

thanks for the kind comments and the support as always . I appreciate it . I had another one today I feel like I have been hit by a bus . My child care career is on hold till I find out bout what’s going on with me . There’s no point going to the hospital because they don’t do any thing .

I'm so sorry you've had another fit. It must be so distressing. There's always time to get back on track with your career, you need to focus on your health for now. I hope the specialist gets in touch soon so you can get some answers.

cupcake88 Please try not to worry until you know what the cause is because lots of these things can be helped with medication - please don't overthink and let your anxiety rush forward to the 'no child care career' scenario, just take it a step at a time and try to be logical. Have you spoken to your GP? Either your GP or the hospital really need to be helping you find the cause so you can move forwards, but you'll probably have to go to hospital for tests. Just remember, in THAT scenario you're choosing to walk in and you'll choose to walk out - it's completely different to before. They don't want to keep you, they've got no beds lol I know it will be frightening - I have a hospital phobia - can somebody go with you?

I have had the brain scans in hospital and they all came back normal . I’m waiting for a letter for the specialist I called them on Friday and they just said I’m on the emergency waiting list . I went to my Gp they wrote to the specialist to ask them if they can’t start me on some medication and they said no they need to meet me first so I’m just left Like this . I have had 2 today I feel like I have been hit by a bus .
I think I have banged my head this is getting dangerous now .

Please just rest up as much as you can @cupcake88 - it's not the same, but when my son had a febrile convulsion when he was young, it absolutely wiped him out. Sending hugs, xx

cupcake88 If you really have to wait then chiarieds is right, just rest, and try to make sure you're in a safe place incase it happens. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Different I know but when I was younger I used to get awful migraines that made me vomit and I felt wiped out afterwards. If I have a bad meltdown I get the migraine following it and am no use to anyone. Don't forget to eat, drink and sleep if you can xx

hi every one I didn’t want to call 111 but I think I’m gonna have to as I’m just seizturing constantly. I’m in a bad way .

cupcake88 I think you should - you can't keep going through this on your own and undiagnosed, someone needs to intervene. Being told to wait for appointments is fine if things stay the same but if things are escalating it may be time to step things up. Please do call them - they'll know what's best. The service is there for these sorts of scenarios. Please take care and let us know how you go x

Hi @cupcake88, I think you’ve made the right decision in calling 111. If you’re having seizures constantly, then I’m sure hospital would be the best place. My friend has seizures, she went in about a year ago. She was on meds, but they needed reviewing. Hopefully, they can start you on some meds. Loads of hugs🤗🤗

Hi @cupcake88 - with such constant seizures calling 111 is definitely the right thing to do, & you should be in hospital. Please let us know how you get on, if you can. Love & hugs, xx

Hi Cupcake88,
I hope you've received a diagnosis. My child was in and out out hospital in the past then received a diagnosis of Non-epileptic seizures and FND functional neurological disorder. I hope your receiving the right support. Keep us updated.
