Changing the Definition of Cerebral Palsy

Organisations are now recognising Cerebral Palsy (CP) as a child-onset condition. It is not a childhood condition that may lessen or disappear at 16 or 18. People with CP grow up and may need various forms of support to live the life that they choose.

Here in the U.K. many organisations and peer-to-peer grassroots groups are working together with different parts of the NHS, academic institutions and a range of other services to make sure that adults with CP are seen, heard and remain so.
