Housing assessment at my parent's home
I became disabled in 2019 and as I have a progressive bone disease, things have got to the point where my mobility is really affected. I use a wheelchair when I'm out but can just about manage without one at my parent's house.
I was living in my own home but moved back in with my parents a few months back. The home is inaccessible and I mentioned this briefly to an occupational therapist. They've now arranged for a local care team to come and visit but what is confusing is that this team help people post surgery so I don't know if they will be suitable for what I need.
I am currently unable to shower though so any help or advice from them would be great. I am looking forward to hopefully getting some support but my mum doesn't like people coming into the house so I might have to gently let her know when it will happen.

I can't edit my original post but I wanted to ask if anyone else has had a care team visit them and assess their current home and mobility?
