Grants and funding for families

Life costs more if you’re disabled. On average disabled households need an extra £1,067 a month to have the same standard of living as non-disabled households.
These can mean having to decide where to allocate your money. Your family might miss out on the little extras, or it can take a long time to save for a piece of equipment your child needs. This can be especially hard in the build up to Christmas.
It can feel overwhelming researching charity support whilst caring for your child. So here is a link to a list of charitable organisations that can help with grants and funding.
I hope this information helps families and carers going into 2025.
