The Traitors contestant Jake confided he has cerebral palsy and growing up he has learned not to be ashamed to ask for help.
In the latest episode of the reality show which aired on Friday, 17 January, host Claudia Winkleman set the contestants a mission in which they had to carry heavy statues up a hill and piece their heads onto them with in a time constraint.
So far the Faithfuls have managed to banish two Traitors and the managed to banish yet another Faithful when they sent Leon home at the round table. And Traitors Minah and Charlotte were given the opportunity to recruit a new Traitor, but have decided to murder again, choosing Jake, Joe and Leanne as their potential victims.
What, how, and why?
Project manager Jake, 28, from Barrow-in-Furness was working with 38-year-old British diplomat Alexander for the gruelling task. After they had got to the top of the hill with their heavy torso statue he confessed: "Just because of my disability, I've got cerebral palsy. So it wasn't the way, it's the grip."
Jake added to camera: "I was born with cerebral palsy, which affects my right arm and right leg. It has been a struggle growing up, knowing that I'm not the same as everybody else. I would always be constantly looking in the mirrors, like, trying to see what my arm looked like or my leg looked like, but it's something I was born with and it's, it's never gonna go away.
"Sometimes 'cause people don't realise I've got it, they assume that like there's no issues or struggles, but obviously it is, cos my grip's not as good. In the past, I probably wouldn't have mentioned it. I'd just struggle in silence, whereas now I feel more comfortable to be like, ''Look, this is, this is an issue I've got, I need some help', you know."

One wrote on social media platform X: "Jake just summed up the experience for so many people with disabilities 'even if i look weaker physically mentally i’m so so strong'".
