hiya everyone, just wanted people to talk to who are in the same boat as me. My beautiful daughter is waiting on a diagnosis for autism, global development delay and sensory processing disorder. Just wanted some advice on how to help her deal with it and how I can help her. Thank you for reading!!

We have some wonderful parent and carers on the community who also have autistic children so hopefully they will be able offer advice and support as well.
Please could you tell me a bit more about your daughter? It would be helpful to know a little bit more so I don’t advise things that are not relevant or you have already tried or signpost somewhere you already getting support from!
For example, her age, how she communicates (verbal, non-verbal, signs, etc.) and any strategies you've already tried to help her that have been helpful (or haven't been quite the right fit) would be great to know.
Also, it would be useful to know about any additional support she's currently receiving, such as occupational therapy, portage service, speech and language therapy or if she has an EHCP (education health and care plan)/support in school or nursery etc?
