Hi, my name is Bznkzy! Telephone consultation with PIP but unable to speak on the phone

hi I’ve got a telephone consultation with pip on the 10th of march now I am not able to speak on the phone I get distressed anxious and confused when asked even the simplest of things my memory is deteriorating due to 10+ years of prescription drug abuse I have ADHD Anxiety dyslexia I have physical problems including deteriorated cartilage in both knees which means it’s extremely painful to walk a distance I have 3 lumps on my right testicle which caused extreme pain and one thing I’m embarrassed about is incompetence at 24 years old example I was literally sat in the garden and I soiled my boxers I get night terrors still and I struggle every day to get out of bed and even to just interact with people is impossible I’m in supported living because I’m in recovery and I’m getting my support worker to speak on my behalf

Hi @Bznkzy, welcome to the community. Sorry to hear things are so difficult at the moment. I hope your consultation goes well with your support worker. If you'd like someone to act on your behalf you could look into getting an appointee sorted for your PIP claim:
Become an appointee for someone claiming benefits - GOV.UK
Hope you enjoy your time on the community 😊
