Oh that's ridiculous to not give accurate information. It's literally their job. I don't use the phone either. I had to for my PIP so this will be the second time I've taken an incoming call in over two years. Even coming on here is not the best feeling, but the alternative of not knowing at those outcomes is worse. Thanks for the information. I will logon to my bank and take lots of screen shots for benefit and bank details questions.
Do these things have a time limit of what do you know?

The time limit for confirming ID is one month after submitting the claim.
There is no time limit for the questions they ask, they can go back many years for that.

I'd like info on home visits too, how long the wait is? As UC have no idea apart from it could be several weeks. The thing thats making me so angry/stressed is we passed ID online & phone.
My husband as stage 4 cancer diagnosed the same time as these blasted migration letters were sent out.
The stress & worry is killing us, as my last ESA goes in on 17th July & thats it until home ID. I've been reading so short staffed taking up to 12 wks.
I cant even think how much debt we'll be in. We arent new claims we are older claimants with serious illnesses & they want 3 lots of ID online phone & home.
I've contacted my MP whos looking into it & I'm making a complaint. I've got someone from Carers UK ringing UC to find out whats going on & why so many times to prove ID when already proved. Unless they're waiting for us to die before the home visit, then it'll save them money!
I am so angry esp as my times been spent with this farce instead of being with my husband, he should be my main focus. Three months of hell & no light at the end the tunnel.
I just dont know how we're cope. The welfare benefit woman from my council sent me £150 in ASDA vouchers, which is very kind.
But this migration isnt fit for purpose & would love to speak to another person/couple whos gone through passing online, telephone ID & then having to have a home visit ID as well?

@Tillyboo Sorry but no one can tell you how the wait will be. It depends on the number of staff and the number of claimants needing home visits in your area. There isn't a standard timescale.
I must admit this is the first time I've heard of someone passing online and phone but still needing a home visit.

Yes & everyone else I have spoken to online about this. A nightmare experience doesnt cover what they are putting us through. My husbands on a SR1 form for PIP terminal prognosis. Are they waiting for him to die! This is what hes said to me.
Its cruel wicked & there should be some disability law that helps us, as from the 17th July my last ESA payment thats it. Cant even apply for an advance because ID isnt proved, although it has been proved.
I now have an MP & 3 Welfare Benefit Officers helping, one as sent £150 in ASDA vouchers to help us.
I'm just out of energy & at this moment in time if there were 2 pills for each of us to take & not wake up, we'd take them. As theres no way out from this...
