The DWP Pension department first told me that they could not find my application for my State Pension, I have never received any notification as to what my State Pension is, I am 82 now, before I was at pension age I elected to differ my Pension, but never heard anything from them, I have been receiving Pension Credit Guarantee for several years, plus DLA & SDA since 1995. I spoke to the DWP Pension department who after informing me of the above advised me to make a new Claim for my State Pension, and they would work it out and pay me a lump sum of the arrears, which I would have to pay Taxes on, when I contacted the number they gave me for the State Pensions the agent informed me that if I claimed my state pension I would not be paid any arrears, and I would also lose my SDA entitlement, so I informed him I was going to seek Advice before making a new claim for State Pension, can you please help in this dilemma
