They may as well give me a chainsaw to cut my toenails. I wont be working anywhere at the age of 60. I can understand it more with much younger people as they all have potential. No time for me to retrain and go into further education. Not now. It's ridiculous. And I wont be filling shelves in a supermarket or packing chickens in trays. They can take a running jump.

Travis50 so your 7 or 8 years away before state pension age . What's would you do if they decide your fit for work . Take a job or lose all universal credit award ? I'm 45 and iv been bullied before lock down by job centre staff.

@neil12345 Your disability I respect, but the 10 years argument wont cut it. Prisoners get out after longer sentences and do find work through job centre or otherwise. Trust me, there will always be work for everyone, regardless how long they have been away.
The disability is your (and all of us) valid point.

Morning all. We understand you have lots of questions and concerns regarding the new green paper announcement, so we've created this discussion for everyone to talk about it here - The Green Paper Discussion
We'd prefer to keep the conversations regarding this all in one place, so as to protect the mental health of all on the community 💜, so we will be closing this discussion. I hope you understand.
