Green Paper thoughts

Hi hope all are ok.
Just my thoughts on this Green paper as I’m aware many many of you here will be in a panic and understandably so.
I personally find it very very hard to believe that the change in eligibility for pip with 4 points needed from 1 descriptor will ever see the light of day. Do not forget these are proposals and nothing is set in stone as of yet and just because Kendall thinks this could be a good idea I’m almost certain that she and whoever thought of such an idea really hadn’t thought it through properly and no doubt the backlash and fight back from organisations and charities etc will soon persuade them that this is a step too far.
Once given the real worlds facts of what repercussions such a move like this will have it is highly unbelievable that any party especially Labour one at that would give it the green light.
Please don’t worry too much and cause yourselves to get sick because as I mentioned these are proposals nothing more as of yet.

Hi @sd100 thank you so much for sharing this. It's a very thoughtful, reassuring message for the community.
It might be worth taking a look at a discussion where a lot of our members are coming together to share their concerns/questions, and support one another. This is called - The Green Paper Discussion
We'd prefer to keep the conversations regarding this all in one place, so as to protect the mental health of all on the community, so we will be closing this discussion. I hope you understand.
