for some reason it will not let me put the link, it does then it doesn't lol sorry if it messes up
Think this was what she was referencing but she gave the I think the 7th as when it was released but this was published on the 3rd. This is just my opinion but a lot of folk around the internet seem to think the 4 point rule would be a precursor to getting LWRC only, believing PIP itself would still just require 8 points to get an award. I am not sure if this is where the confusion comes from, unless anyone else can find a newly released document as in the 7th of April.

hi the link doesn’t work unfortunately. I think she’s said ( brain fog so could be wrong) that the 4 points was for lcwra/health element originally but they’ve now changed it to include pip . But my understanding is you won’t be able to claim lcwra/ health element without pip anyway. So you need to get the 4 points get pip which then gets you health element, so you won’t get one without the other . That’s what I thought .

thank you . Do you mean to get pip standard will be a 4 points descriptor plus a further 8!points making 12 now ? I thought it was staying 8 for standard but including a 4? Point question

Sorry secretsquirrel re the link, when I click on it it does work 🤣but when I click on the discussion link it doesn't 😕 no idea why lol I have had no issues before with links but the Gov doesn't want me to have this one haha. Will try and fix later but for now might be a copy and paste to see it lol if that even works.
Who knows what the heck is going on lol I mean its no wonder everyone is so confused about all of this Cr** Everything the Gov put out is confusing, makes no sense and they are basically saying, here you go, like it or do without ugh 😤

No its still staying at 8 but 4 points in one 😊Its so difficult to word without causing more confusion lol. Some folk think that the 4 point rule only impacts that stupid health insurance benefit thing but not PIP, not sure why they believe that but many do. Don't stress, PIP is still 8 points for standard but one descriptor must be 4 points.

thank you . This is exactly what I thought from day one but the video seems to say that they’ve only just changed it to include pip . Even ppl in the comments were saying the same thing .

I only wanted to attend the session on
‘Reforming the structure of the health and disability benefits system (Chapter 2)
When I checked, there were no available sessions, so I sent them a message asking to be booked in once new slots are released. Not sure if that was the right thing to do, but I’ll have another look today.

NewsSecret locations for Green Paper public consultations
Published: 08 April 2025
The government is keeping secret the location of venues for public consultations about the Pathways to Work Green Paper. Individuals who manage to get a ticket will be informed of the venue by email only after bookings have closed, presumably in an effort to reduce the possibility of demonstrations taking place outside.
Tickets are now available for nine in-person events between 30 April and 24 June in London, Manchester, Plymouth, Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow, Birmingham and Nottingham.
Reasonable travel costs will be reimbursed for those attending in a personal capacity.
People hoping to get tickets may be greeted by a notice saying the event is sold out or closed, even though it isn’t. The organisers say that “To ensure we hear from a range of voices ticket releases will be automatically staggered so please check back later. “ There is no indication of what the final date for bookings will be.
There will also be a series of six virtual events. However, each of these is very limited in scope, dealing with a single chapter in the Green Paper such as “Supporting people to thrive”.

Maybe Reeves should claim PIP for having speech problems ?
She has a 58.4% chance of a successful claim - according to stats
On second thoughts - not even worth considering……

Thanks for the heads-up! 🙏🏽It really feels like the DWP are ‘taking the mickey’ -what’s so secretive about it? I honestly don’t get it. 🙄Anyways, I’ll be responding to these consultations directly… even if it means shouting from the rooftops!🙀
Best Wishes!
