I am literally going off my head with UC asking for more and more statements, from start of my claim when moved from WTC! Its making me ill, I suffer from anxiety/depression and Ive even explained this on my journal ****, have no clue hardly on technology, which I explained also, they have all my statements from 2023!! Every transaction! I feel like my privacy has been totally humiliated and its still not done, do I need help??

Welcome to the forum, lots of us have been through one of the financial reviews. I found it very intrusive as have others.

It seems like there is something they aren't happy with, have they given you an explanation?

Have a read through of this thread (by clicking on the purple text View Post)

    Hi there,

Im still trying to navigate the site🫣. I was reading about the adhd assessments. I have been on the waiting list for almost a year but due to some terrible communication regarding the mental health nurse from my surgery(she said had sent forms and hadnt!!).

I have struggled many many years( in my 50's) now and recently I have been really struggling, anxiety through the roof, head in a jumble and just cry at drop of a hat!!

I was wondering if it would be cheeky to email and ask if Im any closer to being seen or get an appointment.

    Any advice is so welcome.

    Thanks.

Hey there @plot9 and it's a belated welcome from me too. 😁

I'm in the same boat as you and have been waiting nearly two years for my ADHD assessment date to arrive, but this is perfectly normal as waiting lists are huge currently. So it could be another year or two to wait I'm afraid. Though if you're struggling with your mental health, please reach out to your GP, as they're there to help.

A slightly quicker route for getting an assessment is by right to choose, though this would put you on another waiting list, so it's a toss up over which will be quicker for you after a years wait.

Hello😊, thanks for such an informative reply, its really appreciated. What is the Right to Choose?

Ive had years of anti-depressants/anxiety medication🤔...counselling etc. And other 'addictions', I also dont know who I am at times, feel lost and just, I dont know. Its tricky to get a drs app., once you have 'progressed' through the econsult!

    Thanks.😊

No problem at all @plot9 always happy to help. 😁 If you click on the purple text where it says "right to choose" on my previous comment, it'll open up a new link which will explain things a bit better.

I can certainly empathise, the mental health system is a bit messy, even for neurotypical folks, but it's doubly so for us neurodivergent people. But if you're struggling at the moment, please reach out to your GP now, even if you feel you cant describe the wrongness still. ❤️
