Another MP has come out against the cuts . Jonathon Brash for Hartlepool has said he’s voting against as although they need to get people into work this isn’t the way to do it . He’s name is not on the known list and letter. I get the feeling he would have voted for cuts but is trying to appease to keep his seat .

I've found the DNS does like it's clickbait titles @secretsquirrel1 but I'd not call them a bad news service a all. You just sometimes need to read between the lines a bit, or take what they say with a pinch of salt.

I claim PIP so this will all effect me unfortunately @Catherine21 but yes, I have of course written to my MP. 😉

I read that they used the msm to demonise MH and neurodivergency to get public on the side of cuts but really the people most affected will be older people with physical conditions especially invisible ones like myself.

Hi Albus , I think the fact there’s a whistle blower who’s been named and stating things are already being cut is why I believed it . I’ve also seen in on YouTube channels where they’re not clickbait but obviously can only report on what’s on government sites and news sites . I have a lovely OT lady who assesses my needs as I’m partially deaf . She has a support work to do sign language for her . This will affect her too . I don’t know how they can claim to be cutting back to get people working when they’ll be making people unemployed. I did just watched on YouTube an interview with another MP not in the letter but has now come out and said he’s voting against and now wishes he hadn’t voted to cut WFA . I thought yes I bet you regret it .

Hi Catherine, I have fibromyalgia and ME/CFS so it’s a vicious circle. I need to move about a bit to loosen up but I have to be careful of post exertion malaise . Not to mention constant headaches and brain fog etc . I have other conditions too . I wrote to them all and told them my symptoms and said I don’t currently get a 4? Point descriptor yet right now I’m classed as disabled but by next year I won’t be . Even though I’m house/bed bound , so how are you protecting those who can’t work. Needless to say they all ignored my emails. But their assistants must read them so they know the strength of feeling.

Thats a lot noting worse than pain constant pain and extreme tiredness on tip of all this unforgivable evil but your right in other post they wasn't expecting this they wanted the public to turn on us but what they had done to everyone elderly farmers child cap people had enough my mp spoke up so I will definitely vote him again I'm glad to see a lot of mps don't think like starmer may be some hope for them to turn this around and making England the once vibrant caring country

According to something I read they purposely made it seem like they’re targeting MH ( feeling bluesy) adhd and autism ( over diagnosed) by using the msm . In fact it’s physically disabled they’re targeting and older people not the young . If you watch Dan Wootton on YouTube he shows pics of Starmer with his friends the press . They have information on him but are keeping quiet even though it’s discussed in parliament apparently. Obviously this is just what’s on Dans channel so I don’t know but it’s compelling, and shows it’s not just the public who can’t trust him .

I think we should all be very careful with comparing people to the N party and repeating that kind of hyperbole please.

    Not a problem at all @Martinp 😊

I do think we need to be steering clear of name calling and personal attacks if we can, as that isn't at all productive.

Actually, having thought about it since, I've realised that they won't want to touch these cuts. I bet that they can see that they are pure poison.

As they have done so badly in the Local Elections, they will want to be particularly careful how they are seen.

Let's face it, a lot of Labour MPs who vote for the proposals will bitterly regret doing so by the General Election, it will be their turn to go the jobcentre!! 🤭
