It’s like being on a rollercoaster Catherine. I think relax weekend and watch some horror movies. It’s not good for us to be constantly worrying

I think that it won't be a matter of if it going through. I believe will a matter of what proposals get watered down as ministers will not back down altogether.
Supportive MPs are calling for the proposals to have a proper consultation done on all of them, not just what suits ministers to give us, which is only about half of it and, as you no doubt know, not the proposals that we are interested in.
Plus they would like more time to see the full picture of the impact these proposals will have on us. This mainly involves the OBR (Office for Budget Responsibility) who's assessment won't be published until October.
Whatever it is, we are in for the long haul I'm afraid. 😞There is no way the government are going to back down without a fight. They don't want to look weak. Bureaucratic wheels turn very slowly too. We must continue our resistance however hard it is and however long it takes. 😊

Early Days but things seem to be shifting into our favour 🤞

Can’t have one without the other I’d say 😀. Maybe we should open a new thread for horror film chats . With Starmer as Dracula , sucking the life out of the UK 🇬🇧 😀

Thanks for sharing @secretsquirrel1 my MPs not on the list

I’m surprised Ed Miliband isn’t. I thought I heard he’s against the cuts.

I think you're brave to even do that!💪

Medically I'm sure she would be diagnosed as a malignant narcissist. Google it if you're interested! 🤔

You're very welcome! 😊

I feel doubtful about the figures from Ben Claiment myself. I can't believe that not one Conservative MP supports these cuts. 🤔

If it’s anything like Starmer the narcissist psychopath I get the message 😂. Honestly if they were so rich I reckon the front bench would all be on pip themselves.

I watched the entirety of the video from parliament and the conservative minister stated the green paper proposals were rushed and cruel and they would be voting against. I don’t for one minute think the conservatives are indeed on our side but they sense a chance to hurt Starmer. If those figures of voting intentions are correct then it would only take another 30 or so Labour MPs to do the right thing. That then would more than likely bring the government down and a new leader. Whether they will I don’t know but it’s encouraging

oh wow . I did think surely it’s too good to be true but fingers crossed for good news

You're Welcome. 😊
There could be more MPs still before the end of the consultation in June. It's still 7 weeks away. Let's hope so. 🤞🤞

Also it’s a vote winner for the Tory’s . They’re in 3rd place now I think . This has has had more backlash than I think they expected . There are millions of people who are sick , disabled, carers or people who know they could become sick or disabled themselves at any time . Any party that defends us would be who we vote for next election. Regardless of Mel stride we won’t have any other options. Just my opinion , but if I were a Tory minister that’s what I’d do . I don’t care if they all hate us and it’s to save themselves as long as it helps us .

I think that they would have to put an exceptional clause in the PIP criteria, they are so completely disturbed and delusional!! 🤪

No still couldn’t do it , I’m useless at that sort of thing . The graph I mentioned was in facebook in the comments section of the article . It was written by Ben claimants who has videos by Ellen Clifford on his YouTube channel. I don’t know how true it is but someone on this thread just said they listened to the debate yesterday a Tory minister said they’re voting against.
