Came here to post this . No mention of the 4? Point rule being tweaked . 13 weeks of pip then nothing. Not even long enough to appeal. And Labour MPs voting with the government now Tory’s are against. Is that what they call concessions ?

I don't understand what other benefits are there to claim if the work capability assessment is scrapped, I have noticed they've stopped talking about that and are now talking just about PIP cuts.
I think we're being hoodwinked, we won't just lose PIP people face losing LCWRA and LCW unless they're not scrapping the Work Capability Assessment.
Pip cuts are a precursor to scrapping out of work elements of Universal Credit entirely.

Just shows what otter scumbags politicians are doesn't it , in 2016 till he won the election starmer was shouting from the rooftops about taking people's benefits away is morally wrong , fast forward and look what he's doing now

I’m really scared at the moment, feeling so angry not just at them scumbags but myself for being the way I am, I like many many others on here don’t have a choice, this is my life, they take away my social security and I am finished. No way back, can’t think straight

I’m scared too but DPAC and others are surely waiting for the outcome before they fight this . Everyone has the right to support in this country.

We are all feeling the same way this Government has tormented us for months with this. When all the details come out I'm sure there will be a legal fight.
We can't be disabled one minute and then government says nope you ain't disabled anymore it can't work like that.
We got to keep fighting the fight with MPs 👍

Our disabilities are protected in law by the equality acts aren’t they ? And where’s the echr , isn’t it a human right to have food and shelter or aren’t the disabled a protected group

Exactly so how can they declare us no longer disabled due to the lack of 4 points . Not because specialists Drs have stated we are cured , just because we didn’t get a 4 point.

Yeah baffles me to how we are suddenly cured because DWP Say so, I'd rather know tomorrow the results of it all as it messes with your head. I have to try and watch comedy to take mins of it keep busy

It’s not just financial either , there’s the losing the exemption from working . I’m in bed majority of the time resting , sleeping or in pain . There’s no cure for ME and no treatment. And that’s just one of my conditions so there isn’t a day that I don’t have symptoms, no good days. Am I expect we are all like that . How could I look for work ?

It’s less than the tweaks mentioned before. Nothing about those in highest keeping pip without needing a 4. Just they’ll give us pip for 13 weeks before they leave us with nothing. How is that an olive branch.

Carers Allowance is just £83.30 per week for a minimum of 35 hours (£2.38 per hour) - my wife/carer probably works for double this time !!
If they paid at minimum wage - it would be £427 per week……
