From what I’ve read Catherine it’s going to hit people with physical conditions and not MH or autism adhd so much . Apparently that was a smokescreen, trying to say adhd and MH over diagnosed in the young to get the public behind the cuts when it’s going to effect older people with physical conditions like me . I think in case it goes through we need to be vigilant in regards to the 4 points . I know when I’ve filled out my form in the past I should have gotten at least one 4 but down graded to a 2 . Now I’ll go tribunal for the 4 as I suspect thousands will.

thank you 🙏. It shows they don’t care how many find work. There aren’t enough jobs for us all , any employer will employ the healthy job seekers first . Plus the ones already working will lose their jobs if they lose pip . So they’ll be adding to the unemployed list. And what about the ones who fail to get 4 points but are unable to work. How many of use get our points and are awarded pip but don’t get a 4 when they should.

I think ultimately what Labour want to do is just cut and leave us on the scrapheap, "here's your pittance we'll leave you alone…….for now", until another round of cuts and scapegoating disabled people as benefit scroungers starts again down the line.

Hi Lou. I think it is worthwhile sending your thoughts. I have also written to my MP in South Yorkshire and have not received a reply. I am annoyed about the lack of response from our elected representatives. MP's are meant to work for their constituenices and represent our interests and I don't take it as a good sign that MP's cannot even be bothered to respond to people. It makes it feel as if they intend to tow the party line regardless of how many people it hurts in their constituency.
The questions in the consultation are not fair and open questions so anything you can do to challenge the DWP and force them to hear our true opinion is a good thing.

yes I watched that earlier, he makes me laugh the way he talks about them . Also Andy the cabby ( think he’s called) also has a video today saying the same thing .

Labour are in trouble in Scottish polling too. They're very unpopular.

I see Fightback (Non-profit Community Interest Group offering expert Welfare Benefits Advice & help with Advocacy) was at the Government face to face consultation re the Green Paper in Manchester today. Their response re the consultation is on their FB this evening. It's encouraging to see that our voices are being heard.

Just saw a clip of I think ITV news regarding the consultation. It’s posted on DPAC facebook. I don’t know how to link here but basically they refused to let the disabled protesters inside. Amnesty International were there .
