Morning @egister
You can update Wikipedia yourself on benefit changes, it’s open for everyone to contribute! Just make sure to write clearly and stick to the facts, as Wikipedia doesn’t allow opinions or personal thoughts.
If you believe the plans for cuts and the reactions of disabled people deserve a Wikipedia entry or an update to an existing one, you can edit a relevant article or start a new page. Just ensure you follow Wikipedia’s guidelines, maintain a neutral point of view, and provide reliable sources.

The red wall is usually referring to an area of the UK that has historically been held by Labour:

This is what your MP, Tan Dhesi, chair of the influential Commons defence committee, has told the Politics Hub with Sophy Ridge:
"The disappointing local election results show the government must listen and learn, particularly over welfare reforms. Corrective action needs to be taken but insisted if the government changed tact, it would not be a U-turn as the disability cuts were only proposals."
"A government which is in listening mode should be looking at what the electorate is saying, And we need to make sure that it's our moral duty, responsibility, to look after the most vulnerable within our community, whether that's in Slough, whether that's elsewhere across the country.
"So, I hope that the government will be taking on board that feedback and many of us as MPs are giving that feedback in various meetings happening here in Westminster and then we need to take corrective action."

Hi
I see that some get a pip reassessment form to fill in yet today I got a text saying my reassessment will be by telephone by maximus who do it for the DWP.
Does anyone know why this is please..

The thing to bare in mind is if or when Labour votes through the cuts there still can be legal action taken again aspects of the legislation which presumably will be 2 bills, a money bill and legislation to change the eligibility of PIP.
Then if Starmer continues to tank a replacement could reverse the legislation.

The worst are T. Blair, G. Brown, D. Blunkett, A. Campbell, etc., who represent the backbone of Keir Starmer behind the curtain. If they suggest to him to U turn on anything, he'll do it straightaway, as he's nothing without them.
Liz Kendall, Yvette Cooper, Wes Streeting, etc., called Blairites, are Blair's own creation.

Hi you will need to ring and ask them.
I have just completed my pip reassessment form and I will posting it tomorrow.
They gave me less than 3 weeks to complete it and send it back.
I didn't request an extention because I am going away on a little break next week and I just want it out of the way.
What baffled me is why they sent me the form so early because my award is until September 2026.

Hi @luvpink thanks I will but hate doing it they aren't nice to deal with.
Same as you I got a form to fill in last year, probably April or may whereas my reassessment not due till this year.Filled it in and sent it back and heard nothing until a week ago. I thought that was that but apparently it's massive backlogs, probably same with you. Pleased you did it and sent it off it is a stress.

May I please ask you how many pages long the form is? Which one do you think is harder to fill in, the WCA form or PIP? Cheers.
