I see Fightback (Non-profit Community Interest Group offering expert Welfare Benefits Advice & help with Advocacy) was at the Government face to face consultation re the Green Paper in Manchester today. Their response re the consultation is on their FB this evening. It's encouraging to see that our voices are being heard.

Just saw a clip of I think ITV news regarding the consultation. It’s posted on DPAC facebook. I don’t know how to link here but basically they refused to let the disabled protesters inside. Amnesty International were there .

they’re disgusting. I reckon they’re panicking. Didn’t realise the backlash they’d receive

they want to be able to say they were transparent and had open dialogue with disabled people etc . In case it goes to court . I don’t think they expected all the backlash
