I suppose we got something out of it it's just people who become disabled after 2026 so whoever on lwcra apply for pip your claim will be counted from the day you signed it even if it goes after 2026 your claim will go from say 25th June 2025 it's a double edged sword if this is true because would feel relief and they so sorry for people after 2026 if the mps was united it should be one for all and all for one including all disabled old and new claimants

That's a good point we will need to email our mps asking do we still recieve the old form of renewal for pip ? As you rightly said no change that needs to be really highlighted

The concessions are akin to lipstick on a pig. The fundamental flaws remain. But it looks attractive enough for even leading rebels to embrace the concessions and vote the Bill through on Tuesday.
The concessions might even satisfy many users of this forum.
I really need a break from this.

I hear you we are being used as a political pawn sick amd twisted really is but thier is good mps I believe it would have to be good concessions well I hope it's an emotional rollercoaster to many ups them downs wish I never engaged with politics it's an ego driven elites dream the welfare state but look at all the pushbacks and people still fighting it's the unknown trying to look for answers when I feel so overwhelmed to the point of craziness I think who would have thought this would happen all these mps all over place starners finished and one thing I have learnt from this group is we can't believe everything we read I hope you find some peace

I cant see them agree to that it's still leaving people who become disabled cut from recieving help like 50 pound a week cut for new claimants surly that could be deemed discrimination

well that's another fight and it's important because that really protects us and then under 22 year olds not able to claim trust me they messed up big time because farmers after them mps revolting I think pip will really be watered down and yh next big fight lwcra uc health top up so they will have all us disabled in uproar and under 22 year olds charities the lot they should have left it all as it was because been proven it's not as high as they say and 24 million a year goes unclaimed their greed thier sinister minds to grab everything off everyone not forgetting social care workers taxes will go up again and I can imagine a massive uproar over that they unsettled the whole of the UK and made us and are making us suffer this shows you when a leader can't lead who suffers the people

Once anyone is reassessed for PIP in the future, they will face stricter eligibility rules, including the need to score at least four points from a single daily living activity. If they do not meet this, they will lose their benefits. The only safeguard is a 13-week protection period before payments stop, offering little more than a brief transition.
Government statements often use phrases like “no current claimant will lose out,” but this is misleading. It usually means “no one will lose out immediately,” not that support is guaranteed in the long term. This masks the fact that many will eventually face reassessment and risk losing help.
What is especially worrying is that under the proposed rules, new applicants from next year could receive far less, potentially only half of what current claimants get. This is not just unfair, it is unnecessarily harsh for people who depend on these payments for essential costs.
This bill must be rejected in its current form. If MPs have accepted the so-called offer of concessions, it raises serious concerns about their understanding of the impact or willingness to scrutinise the changes. The concessions do not fix the core injustice.
I hope MPs who have already rebelled, and those still considering their stance, can see through this and stand up for a fairer, more compassionate system.

I think I’m going to see what happens then if it goes ahead I’ll email the relevant people and say the change pip assessment needs is criteria for fatigue and pain as there’s nothing in the forms for that . I think the system is so complicated is hard to know what will happen
