I need a little favour

and it won’t cost you anything…. well maybe 30 seconds.
Please take a moment to support my cousin who has CP.
On 12 June, my disabled cousin was denied boarding by British Airways staff in Cairo. His sister was told it was because “last time it took half an hour to board him” on a previous flight. Just too inconvenient.
The worst thing about it, though, was the way he was treated. Because of his speech impediment, they ignored him when he spoke, dismissed him, and arranged for him to be wheeled out of the airport alone to his family — who were not permitted entry. He felt humiliated, dehumanised, and discarded.
British Airways has since issued a hollow apology, made worse by their refusal to even refund the ticket — a decision that makes the discrimination feel officially endorsed.
This wasn’t just bad service — it was blatant discrimination. And it has left my cousin deeply shaken. He’s now anxious about flying — the freedom and independence he once had has been diminished. His world is smaller.
We’ve started a public campaign to push for accountability, and I would be so grateful if you could support it by retweeting or commenting. It takes just a few seconds, and it means the world to us.
