    I had noted Albus has not been on the PIP subforum for a while and only found out today of his passing. I am shocked. I have not been here long but knew Albus from trying to help members with PIP issues within the PIP subforum. Albus was always on the PIP subforum helping members with PIP issues too. He will be sadly missed and was a genuinely nice person, that was easily noticeable in his help he gave. Very sad news.

    Welcome back Nightcity!

    Our forum is not the same without Albus and I'm still incredibly sad, especially on a Friday. It is fitting to remember him on World Mental Health Day. He was 10/10.

    As a recently-diagnosed autistic adult, Albus explained what many of us had experienced in later life and validated the similarities. A midwife, aquarium expert, DJ stand out for me of his many occupations. Albus challenged misogyny, the greatest injustice of all ๐Ÿ‘

    I'm more than glad that Scope has preserved his account with all the wisdom, encouragement, hope and humour he offered us. I loved his random National Day threads and wonder if they might make an appearance on the relevant days, Scope?

    I feel very sad that, because of internet fraudstars, Albus's photograph could not be put on this forum, as they might make an avatar and account and use it to steal.

    Someone's face tells us a lot about their character, and Albus was kind, it would show up individually, in his photograph.

    And of course I respect is family's wishes not to show his photograph thus.

    It is a sad world we live in sometimes.

    A sad world, sometimes, my glass is half full - pretty much 24/7;

    there's no point in being any other way.

    The good side is SCOPE is helping us to protect Albus, his family, and us all from fraud.

    I think and feel now, I am coming to terms with the loss of Albus, but then I did not know him well;

    or did I in a way?

    If I, and others who did not know him well, knew his compassion and nurturing encouragement, his going the extra mile, then we knew the most important thing about him.

    There is nothing worse than a life wasted, when so much compassion is possible, and definitely Albus had great compassion and sensitivity. He thus did not waste his life, he brought out the best in everyone, he soothed our distresses, and made us fit for recovery time and again. Such skillful means is not a small thing - it is a great and good thing.
