    It certainly is

Especially when my wife told me that she should be home in about an hour.

That was almost 3 hours ago!!

@Wibbles, that must feel really unsettling when you were expecting her back ages ago. Appointments can run all over the place though. I have had some where I was in and out in 20 minutes, and others where I was sat waiting for what felt like forever. Consultants running outpatients clinics can get called away to emergencies, so things often overrun. I really hope everything goes well for her today and that she’s home soon.

@Wibbles , I can understand why that would make you anxious, but it’s actually really common for phones to be off during appointments. Some clinics ask people to switch them off, and a lot of people turn them to silent so they don’t disturb anyone. In some places you just don’t get a signal at all. Hopefully she’ll be out soon and able to give you an update.

She got back after almost four hours - she had a biopsy (they found and removed some Polyps) and await the results of that - it's going to be another 2 weeks for the results - but things don't look very promising !

Sorry to hear that @Wibbles. It must have been very disappointing for you both not to have found out for sure
