Yes poppy123456 I didn't know you could get copy of report but guy offered it to me. I rang again today and was told they are now working on assessment reports from April of this year and they are behind their guideline time frame of 6 weeks from they receive the medical assessment.0

Out of interest, what area is everyone in? Are decision makers based in each area or they all based in Belfast? Im from Belfast, assessor said around 4 or 5 weeks at my assessment. Got text a week after saying they received report. Where is everyone else from to see if certain areas are backlogged?0

I don't live in Belfast but I think it is a centralised no matter where u live0

I'm in Fermanagh and said it would be at least 6 weeks, I haven't requested the report as I don't do well on the phone and have no one else to do it for me, I have been suffering a lot lately and can't even afford food and my health is suffering =[

Sorry, read your other post wrong, thought you said you received your report. Hang on in there and hopefully you will get good news soonVicki988 said:I'm in Fermanagh and said it would be at least 6 weeks, I haven't requested the report as I don't do well on the phone and have no one else to do it for me, I have been suffering a lot lately and can't even afford food and my health is suffering =[0 -
Just got my copy of my assessment report and all I can say is my assessor must have been on another planet as there is no mention of her having to lift me off the floor during an attempt of an exercise she insisted I tried. No mention of me being housebound unless someone can come and help me downstairs as I live in a 2nd floor apartment. Absolutely disappointed oh and apparently she has put a time frame of 9 months for me to suddenly be able to walk again!!! And cos I was dressed it was deemed I could look after myself should I have been ****??0

Are the points awarded listed on the assessors report0
-
There will be boxes with dots at the back of the report. They are not added up because it's just a recommendation. You need to add them yourself. I use the PIP self test to do this because it's easier. Usually they go with the recommendations but you'll still need to wait for the decision.baggsy26 said:Are the points awarded listed on the assessors report

Oh right thank you poppy didnt understand how it works0

The descriptor boxes were all on the report with the tick beside each one assessor deemed correct so just used the self assessment online to add them up0

im in tyrone and tried ringing them again today-9 weeks exactly from assesment by capita-letter dated 7th may to say all medical evidence they needed had been recieved--girl did look it up after she took n/insurance number-- no result as of today-she said there was a big back log as they dont have enough medical assessors to look at these reports and make a descision and some off on holidays-she said 4-6 weeks(as advised by capita nurse that day of interview) is really only an estimate at the moment-in some cases they can get a descision in 4 weeks as was the case with a cousin of mine-she said u will continue to recieve DLA till a descision is reached-she said it takes 7 days after this before u get it in writing-------i was told last week i couldnt get report until descision was made-seems to be some differances over this1

Chevy790 ring back as my assessment was received 8th May by the dwp and have been told they still working on April at minute but you can 100% get copy of the report as I got it. The rules changed on that not long ago apparently. Maybe person you spoke wasn't aware of the change0
