Thank you so much @StarryEyed. I'll be honest, I've quickly worked out I'm not good enough to paint actual things 😂 but I quite like this more abstract and easier painting.

Have you picked up anything in the new year @StarryEyed? I've just spotted your necklaces from earlier this month. They're ace. Love the colours!

@Holly_Scope, we all have our strengths, and what's easy for one person isn't necessarily easy to the next person. I can't paint things or abstract. But I love to look at other people's work, including yours. You're inspiring me to create some jewellery tonight. It's been a while. 😊

Ah, we were writing at the same time, @Holly_Scope. Nothing new this year. Thank you for your compliment 😊

Oh I had fun last night making four necklaces and four bracelets. They are all different styles, so there's something for many different tastes. They are all made from recycled beads.

    Four necklaces....

Four bracelets for the upcoming Lent and Easter season…

Thanks to all of you here for your inspiration! I was under strict yet gentle supervision and orders by Angel. So I have her to thank for that, as well as her lovely company. ❤️

I love seeing your necklaces @StarryEyed, and this time was with a bonus cat which is always appreciated! I'm very intrigued by the bead design board, I'd never thought about how you decide what bead should go where.

We'd love to see some of your jewellery too @Cherry70!

For real???? Oh how exciting! Do tell.... What kind of jewellery do you do? I do mostly bracelets, necklaces and earrings. Thank you and @Rachel_Scope for your compliments. 😊🙏🏼

@Rachel_Scope this is what I have as modelled by Angel. (Cat not included.)

I'm not interested unless Angel is included 😉 I must resist the temptation to dive into another hobby. I don't have time for the ones I've got!

Sorry, Rachel. Angel is not for sale. I'm sure you understand. 😊 What are your hobbies?

Ok fine, I understand. I do already have 2 cats so I shouldn't be greedy! I play piano, guitar, crochet, sing, and I've just got back into reading. I have a baby and a teenager so I don't get much time to do them but I need to start trying 😊

    Fab idea @StarryEyed!!

This is the yarn I have bought, it was only very cheap while I get to grip with the basics but my research has told me that I should've got a much thicker type as that makes it easier to learn all the tricks!

Have you knitted before or crocheted? Do you have any fun creative hobbies?

Oh @Mary_Scope that is such a beautiful shade of blue. Messing up on the thickness is the best way to remember next time 😊. My only real hobby is jewellery making. I also really enjoy digital scrapbooking, which might well qualify as a fun and creative hobby. As a little kid I crocheted a little for my dolls to make little blankets, but I was never really good at it and never really had anyone to show me. So I never really got into it. Good luck with your scarf! Keep us posted when you find a pattern.

That sounds very peaceful @StarryEyed, what sort of jewellery do you make? Do you have any photos of them please, I'd love to see!

Digital scrapbooking definitely counts as a fun and creative hobby! What website do you use for that?

Ha I did something similar for my dolls when I was a child too except it was random bits of fabric that I had sewed together to make "dresses"😅
