Hi, my name is sarahjayne1803!

Hi everyone I have recurring pyleonephritis which causes permanent kidney pain and im itruggling a lot at the min with depression so thought talking may help

    Hi @sarahjayne1803 - Welcome to this community which I've found so very supportive. Yes, talking about the issues we face often helps. I'll ask my friend @thespiceman for his advice, as he has a great understanding about the mental health issues that so very often accompany pain.

    Thank u I feel like im not functioning anymore because of pain in on strong meds but they don't last full day which just makes the depression worse which makes me feel useless and the cycle continues x

    Pleasse can I add I am one of the team of community champions.

    We guide, advise and help members of our community.

    I have mental health issues my self and do know it is essential to get some access to support. Coping and dealing with pain, also give you links for those.

    Organisations relevant to your pain, other conditions.

    I use these three for my mental health.

    Offer floating support, well being advice . Any issues on benefits.  

    Take clientele with additional conditions, disabilities.




    Last one is an advocate charity speaks on your behalf. Medical professionals or Doctors.

    For your pain and any advice with that.


    You mentioned problems with your kidneys. This  organisation offer a lot of information, support.

    Hi @sarahjayne1803 and welcome to the Communiity.  It is nice to meet you and thank you for sharing with us.  I'm really sorry to hear of your health struggles.  We are all here to support you so anytime you wish to chat then please do so as there will always be someone on here to listen.  Lots of lovely, supportive people on here so you are not alone.  I suffer from some pain myself and know how debilitating that can be and can appreciate if if is making you feel depressed.  You have been given some very good links and information above by @thespiceman and we are only too happy to support you anytime.  I hope you enjoy your time with us and look forward to seeing you on here.  If there is anything you need at all then please don't hesitate to ask.  All the best.  :smile:
